I feel Like a Noob...

Because I haven't been around in for-ever!  I have been supply teaching every single working day of April, May and now so far in June.  Crazy I tell ya, but I'll take it.  I just wish I didn't have to wait until the night before, or 6 am, to find out if I'm working or not.  Makes for quite the hectic mornings.

How are you all?  Can we do a quick check in where you catch me all up to speed on you?  I will try to be more present...

Not much is really new with me. Just been supplying and applying to every posting that has come out. Hoping year 12 on the supply list is the year I finally get a permanent anything. Fingers and everything crossed. I need a miracle.

V is doing well. Total toddler territory. Her favourite word is "mine!"

B is a crazy 4 year old and I am anxious about him starting school in the fall. It will be interesting to see how well he follows instruction for an entire day other than at daycare.

H starts a new job on mondaybdoing the same thing he's been doing for the last 10 years, just changing companies (wastewater treatment/collection and water treatment/distribution).

Welcome back!! Hope life has been treating you well... sure sounds busy!!

I'll be 41 weeks pregnant with #2 tomorrow, so that about sums up my life these days! DD is so much fun, and so, so busy! I don't know how I'm going to manage 2 of them, but it will be an adventure!

Welcome back! I hope you get your permanent position soon, that sounds so hectic waiting each day to get the word on if you're working or not. Like jnetx said, it's been pretty slow around here

DD has been lots of fun and full of energy but is also learning how to challenge us frequently so we've been busy with her. We're suspecting she may be getting her canine teeth in, which is fun. We also recently learned I am pregnant with #2 and am 5w5d. Still early but we're excited and nervous for the changes to come.

32w3d with #2 here. DD is wonderful. Full of attitude and personality. I hear you on the "mine" thing! DD goes back and forth between "No" and "mine" and when she's really serious we get a stern "NO NO" lol. This stage is so fun though!

We are busy busy busy.....with DS turning 3 in April and at DD 21 months....they are a handful but are so so fun. It was hell with having 2U2 but now I love that they are close in age and they are BFF's.

I admire ya'll going for VBAC's. I sometimes feel like I took the easy way out with a RCS but I kind of stuck with what I knew. GL to you all!!!

Anyway, I'm not on a ton either since I have both kids home full-time for the summer. We just finished our first round of swimming lessons for DS, and DD is talking in multi-word sentences already.

I am home on maternity leave with DD2 who is now 8 weeks old. It's crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. DD1 knows her colors and is starting to recognize certain letters and numbers. She is loving the nicer weather and her outdoor toys. Boy do they grow up fast!
