I'm really excited to be going home to see my extended family (ie mom's side) but then I remember I have to see my dad's parents and I'm annoyed that they get to meet DD. I haven't seen my grandfather in 2 years and my grandmother in 1 and I liked it that way.

Confession: I didn't have the heart to tell my MIL that the "traditional christening cake" she makes (that I knew nothing about until she pulled out pictures last weekend) is creepy looking and weird....so I still ordered one from a professional anyway. :/

UO: I still think gladiator sandals that have the straps all the way up to the knee are super ugly. I think I posted this on TB last year but saw someone wearing them today.
@spiratheory it's in your profile settings but I do all picture things through tapatalk because it is much easier. I don't remember the full details on how but it's pretty easy. I just used one of my Facebook pics.
jax1182014 not washing your hair is good for your hair and scalp. The itchiness eventually goes away. I wash my hair on average once a week. And only use shampoo every other time I wash. Yes- shampoo every two weeks. Conditioner every week.
MsNicole06 sorry that they have to meet. But hopefully you'll go years again without seeing them.
littleapplemom lol to creepy cakes. Is it bad enough for those lists of creepy cakes that show up online? Also, at first I read alligator sandals but I agree they are nms.
Today is a day just for me and H. His stepmom is watching Liam. She is so great with him and he loves her so much. We are running some errands mostly for the day. June, July, and August are pretty slow months for his line of work so we take advantage

jjh1119 +1 for all pics thru tapatalk. Cake Wreck is the website. I was telling my sister about it so I found this yesterday. It looks something like this but includes the doll arms and legs. I'll be sure to post one of the actual finished product.

DS was crying because it was his nap time but he was in his car seat riding around the city with my mom and I (I'm on vacation to see them) so I climbed over the seat to get in the back with him so he could see me and stop crying. But he didn't. So I buckled myself in, leaned forward, whipped out my boob, and nursed him while he was still strapped in his seat. Is that against the law? Thank goodness my boobs went up some sizes from an A cup so I could reach him.

I keep feeling for my nexplanon implant to reassure myself I'm not pregnant. I've already thrown up and I've been nauseous this whole week... I've read horror stories about the previously marketed implant failing hundreds of women years ago.
Confession: Last night my mom came over to watch the baby so I could sleep off a migraine. I was an ass and told her i was pregnant and quickly fled to my bed before she could react. This morning she came into my office and gave me a hug. littleapplemom, I agree the gladiator shoes are awful and I have not seen one person look good in them. Some thing should just stay in the past.

Congratulations to you!!! The kids are going to have a crazy close bond!

littleapplemom I can't wait to see the finished product. I showed DH the pic you posted and goes that's creepy as shit.
DD is singing along to the music on the radio now. I hate the drive to go home and see my family. I'm now even more grateful my parents bought a house by us and we hardly ever have to drive back by them.
I have to wet my hair every day to reactivate the curls, but wash it hardly ever. I don't like gladiator sandals. I wouldn't look forward to seeing people I don't like. But I would probably eat a creepy cake (it's still cake, after all) even if I ordered another one. I'm just excited about the weekend. I want to clean out my closet, and the garden if the weather cooperates. Confession: Although I want to be supportive of MH's diet, I'm going to drink a lot of beer this weekend, and perhaps in front of him. I figure, he drank during my first trimester....

Re: avatar and tap talk - I'm using tap talk now, but I'm on mobile. I've looked at the profile settings, but I don't see how to change it. --- Did you all do it on a computer instead of mobile. This is embarrassing!
Confession: I wish I would have gotten wastey drunk at least one time before my bfp. I didn't really think I'd get KU so quickly, so I thought I'd have at least one summer month to drink beer in the backyard with friends. --- I'm not complaining; I just regret not drinking while I had the chance.

Confession... I want to secretly start throwing away some of H's stuff. It's clogging up the baby's room. Do we really need your entire childhood Lego collection?
zengal yay for closet clean out I plan to do the same too. Drink all the beers!
spiraltheory I got one or two good wastey drunk nights jic I have a bfp before summer's end. Totally understand. Still not the end of the world though.
I just got a text from my boss reminding me about the wedding I'm doing sunday. The same day I just made plans for a going away party for some family friends moving away. Whoops. I'll be an hour and a half late. Totally forgot about the wedding
FFFC? One of the reasons I'm okay with being one and done is because the idea of not drinking for months on end again sounds depressing. I just love wine. And beer.... and mojitos.
lovebuggies12 That is awesome. I'm sure if he was still strapped into the carseat it's perfectly legal!
Re hair washing: I wash my hair every day. Am I in the minority? When I got my hair cut a few months ago, I told my haircut lady that I was only doing every other day because it was just too hard to find the time with a new baby. She acted like I was gross...
Confession: This morning, I brought DH a towel so that he didn't have to walk past LO's room to get to the closet. He thought I was just being nice, but I was really doing it because he makes too much noise when he goes over there and it wakes her up.

So with you on the love of beverages. My Mother's Day gift was a mojito mixology kit. Is that sending the right kind of message, idk...but how thoughtful!

I'm right there with you, I was waiting for my birthday which is the 8th next month.

wildflower810 you can mail me some boxes of Legos. I love Legos and already about DD duplos so that I could build things with them.
I'm awful about supporting DHs desire to loose weight. He had lost 80 lbs before I met him 3 years ago and he has put it all back on because I love carbs and am in charge of cooking most days. On the upside he does love my cooking.
Confession: there are days I want a mommy job and get my boobs done and a tummy tuck. Maybe some lipo on my thighs. It just sounds so much more appealing then working out.
Another confession: I have never drank alcohol. Like, ever. In my whole life. I don't have a problem with it, I just don't. I've only even been old enough for almost 3 years and one of those years has been spent being pregnant/breastfeeding. I might try something when I'm done nursing if I'm not pregnant again already. We'll see.
I'm thinking the boobies will definitely got done after I'm done with kids. Luckily I don't have stretch marks so no tummy tuck but if that changes after I'm done, tummy is getting done too
I'm for sure going to be Mrs. New Boobs someday. That was the plan before the baby making ever commenced. I've seen what happens after bfing. Not. Okay.

My Mother's Day present was alcohol related too! Glad I'm not the only one.
