Sounds like buffalo chicken dip is pretty popular! I was going to suggest this, too!
Another crowd pleaser is a Greek version of a 7 layer dip, served with pita chips and veggies. Layer hummus, tabouli, diced cucumbers, kalamata olives and feta.
Roasted chickpeas are a yummy snack, too. Take canned chickpeas, rinse and drain. Spread on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper and a little paprika and roast at 350 for a few minutes until crunchy.
Look at you...all healthy
I know. I can't eat cheese, so my brain has learned to block out all of my favorite things like nachos and potato skins!
We are keeping things simple this year so frozen apps from Trader Joes and we are ordering pizza. The only thing I plan to research and "make" are chocolate martinis.

Cook 1lb ground beef in a frying pan with most of a packet of taco seasoning. Drain and set aside.
In a large microwave safe bowl, mix a jar of salsa con queso (I use Tostitos brand), sliced black olives (I use a whole can because I LOVE olives), 1 cup (1/2 bag) shredded cheddar cheese, and the remaining taco seasoning.
Add cooked meat to the rest of the ingredients.
Tastes best hot. I usually microwave 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 secs.
Serve with chips of your choice, I think scoops work best here!
P.S Not a sour cream fan, but it would work on top!

I would never have thought of tabouli and hummus together like that. That sounds yummy without the olives. Haven't had tabouli in forever.
