1. I'm laying on the couch watching GMA trying to keep the nausea at bay.
2. We have to go to a wedding this weekend that is a 3+ hour drive away each way. We decided it was best to just go for the day and leave LO home with Grandma and Grandpa, instead of bringing LO and staying 2 nights in a hotel. It will be a long day for all of us!
3. I'm really hoping I can make it through the wedding without anyone suspecting I'm pregnant. It's my step sister's wedding so there will be quite a few close family members there. Fingers crossed.
4. DH came down with a really nasty virus last week and even had to go to the ER. I think he's finally just starting to feel a lot better.
5. Needless to say our bathroom remodel that was supposed to take place this past weekend didn't happen. Now we have to push it off til the begining of July since we are busy the next few weekends.
6. I made brownies last night and vegged and watched the Bachelorette. I'm not ashamed.
7. I hope I feel up to doing something fun with DD today. She was so good for me yesterday while I got some things done around the house and wasn't feeling well.
8. My Mom found out she is going to be without a job soon. She works for a really small company and they have run out of money. It's too bad because she only has a few more years left to work til retirement and now she's on the job hunt.
9. MIL was so surpirsed LO knew what lotion is and what to do with it. She saw the lotion bottle and put her hand up to it and started rubbing her hands together. I think a whole day together will be good for her so she can attempt to seeing all she knows. Dh and I mentioned she needs to spend more time with grandparents without us and also maybe even her first sleep over. Eek!
10. Rain, again today. We've had so much lately it's crazy! It may clear up this evening and I'd love to get a nice long walk in.
1) We finally found a house! They accepted our offer, so now we wade through all of the paperwork. Closing is July 31, which is two weeks before my due date. There's a good chance we'll wait to move till after baby is born. 2) Now we focus on selling our current house, which thankfully we own, so even if it takes a while to sell we won't have two mortgage payments. 3) DD has her last few teeth coming in. It's rough. 4) We FINALLY got DHs car back, and are no longer a one car family. I'm ridiculously happy about this. Although, I would've been happier without the 1k bill for fixing it. 5) DD is loving her swimming pool. It's one of those inflatable ones, and big enough that I can get in it too, which is awesome in this humidity. 6) I've been pretty absent around here lately. Everything has just been crazy here that I haven't had a lot of time. 7) We're working on potty training. It's not going well. We started because she was giving lots of cues that she was ready, but now I'm not so sure. 8) I'm excited to decorate the new house, and have been going crazy on Pinterest. 9) Hoping that DD and the dog both handle all of the upcoming changes well, new house, new baby, etc. I also have to find a new pediatrician and a vet. 10) Tomorrow is an OB appt and another follow up U/S. Hoping everything is all cleared up and the baby is doing well. He barely moves at all, so I'm always paranoid. It's so different from DD. Also, I really should pack my hospital bag, I'm almost 32 weeks already

lilqt3929- so sorry to hear you are dealing with morning sickness! Have you been taking anything for it? My doctor had me take B6 and unisom instead of a prescription and it definitely helped take the edge off. Maybe your doctor can recommend something similar?
mommabakes- congrats on your new home- how exciting!! We moved into our home when I was 39wks pregnant with DD1... My only advice is to start packing up the things you don't use as much now while you are smaller and have more energy! Wishing you and your LO the best of luck at your upcoming appointment.
1. DD2 had her 8 week shots today and has been passed out since. She was a little trooper and only cried for about 30 seconds.
2. She's up 4lbs5oz from her birth weight and we are still EBF...woo!
3. I am so sick of her hip dysplasia harness. Not only does it attract insane amounts of dog hair and lint, it makes it hard for me to BF her since her legs are in an odd position and it makes it hard for her to sleep because her legs are literally up in the air when she's on her back. I've been trying to figure out the right combo of arm swaddling/towels under her legs, but so far we are only getting about 3hrs at a time (she was up to 6 before the harness)
4. I was diagnosed with PPD but have declined medication up until this point and have tried more natural remedies. I think I am going to talk about getting medication when I go in for my IUD.
5. DD1 has been such a good big sister lately and is no longer hitting DD2 at random times throughout the day. She is still going to the sitters house 3x a week since we have to pay for it anyways. It's been good for her to stick to her routine and get some one on one time still. I have a feeling she is not going to like when DD2 starts going and she doesn't have the sitters full attention after almost 2 years.
6. It has rained almost every day in NY during my maternity leave. I have 4 weeks left and was hoping to get some yard work/pool time in.
7. The closing for our rental property will hopefully be Friday. It needs to be painted before the bank will approve the closing. All this rain has delayed the painting 3 weeks and it HAS to get done. I'm ready to have one less stress in my life.
8. The ice cream shop near my house will hand pack a pint of ice cream for $2.99. I have eaten two pints of cotton candy this week.
9. I turned 29 on Saturday and took DD to the zoo. She loved it and keeps talking about the wolves and peacocks, probably the two most random zoo animals lol
10. Late night feedings have me stalking the parenting board... @iamjojo and triplea598--- we miss you! How are your kiddos doing?
Thanks @fiveohfive, I actually took the b6 and a half Unisom last night as a trial and it's a lot better today. Were you taking a half or a whole Unisom? I don't know if I will continue it every night or not but I wanted to definetly get something for the days I have events that are coming up (wedding and a baby shower) that will be tough to get through. I can't wait til I'm out of the 1st trimester, ugh, I definetly wont miss feeling like this! Funny how people on my new BMB are complaining of having no morning sickness, they don't know how good they have it!
I'm glad to hear your almost free of the rental property and that DD1 is doing better with DD2. I hope the harness is helping and that you don't have to use it much longer, you need some good solid sleep!

Thanks for the well wishes!
I did 20mg of B6 3x/day. During the two daytime doses I took 1/2 a unisom and then a full pill with the nighttime dose. It took a few days for me to adjust to the unisom during the day but I definitely noticed a difference when I forgot to take a dose. Morning sickness with a toddler is horrible! Hope you feel better soon

Ok, thank you! I don't know if it's worse this time or just the fact that I have a toddler now, haha. I feel so bad that she is having to suffer a bit since Mommy doesn't feel well . Hopefully it's short lived!
