Any suggestions for something to swap out for burpees? I tried a few but I think I need to get my core a little more built. I can't even do one properly.
Combine it with the jumping jacks and the high knees and I'm pretty sure the result will be disastrous for my (already bad) knees.
I hate burpees, too pismoduo, they hurt my hip flexors. I modify them to step out (rather than jump out) to the push-up position and that helps. However, if you want to lessen the impact on your knees of the jumping, try doing a walkout. It's a little plank like but it's more of an active exercise so it works the muscles differently. Basically, start standing, go to the ground with straight arms and your legs as far as you can get them toward your shoulders (you're in an inverted V) and then walk your arms out until you're in a plank. Depending on your fitness level you can walk back in and stand up or stand from plank and start over (or throw in a push-up if you're crazy). Not sure if my description is clear, I'll try to find a video.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

This sounds like a good idea! I was reading an article in Cosmo about substitutions for burpees and they talked about one called an inch worm walkout that sounds similar.
Hi! Mind actually removing me from the list for this month? Obviously I totally failed at last month, and this month I'm going to be travelling a bit, so I can't commit.

Yeah I don't think I'll be trying burpees again anytime soon. My body is not happy about that. The plank yesterday was also super hard for me so I ended up only doing about 5 seconds at a time like 5 seconds, rest on the floor for a few seconds and then up again for another 5 seconds. I'm kinda sad to admit that but up until last month the only real exercise I did was high school gym class. So it could be worse I guess.

I forgot to do it so I just did it and will have to do 2 today. I cant believe how out of breath I was from Burpees! I have never done them before. I did dance in HS, and we didnt do those. All of my friends that played sports had to do them though.
