I hate my freetimes. The flaps make gaps in the legs.
The flaps don't make gaps. They might not fit your LO, but the diapers are fine. We use them 90% of the time and never have gaps. It just either isn't a good fit for your kid, or you aren't puttig them on right.

Oh, but D complained for a bit with L. With J he didn't complain til we started BLW bc between that and and bf he didn't get to do much feeding. But there are other ways to bond and parent.
I tried one of J's 4.0s on H yesterday, but the elastics are too stretched out to fit her little legs. FFFC- I'd rather buy new ones than take the time and effort to replace all those elastics. It's not Friday anymore, is it? I lost track...

Oh that is not a confession. Buying new diapers=fun; rehabbing old diapers=blah financial responsibility. Donate the old ones to a charity who will rehab them and then go shopping.
Oh and I have a confession. I don't really like soda, but I lurve root beer. So much. I have no restraint in the face of an open bottle. Root beer and marshmallows are my junk food weaknesses.
Since we are still discussing soda and confessions, yesterday on the way to church I wanted a Pepsi so bad but I didn't want to be judged for drinking pop at 9;30am. So I poured a can in to my travel coffee mug and sipped away all morning. It was delightful.

I confess that I never tasted root beer until I was in at least high school, if not college. I'm kinda meh about it, but sometimes it just really sounds good - if it's the real stuff. Not that mass produced junk.

I like both. Although the tiny bubbles in A&W make me annoyingly burpy.

OMG yes. Why isn't root beer more popular?
Road trip memory: many years ago we found an old A&W place in the middle of nowhere in Kansas -- one of those places where you drive up, and you sit in your car and they take your order, and then when they bring you your food, it's in a tray that hangs on the side of your door. Root beers and hot dogs/burgers. Heaven.

We have many A&Ws around us, several sit us the car parks for service! It was fun to go to those before kids. Now that we have kids we go inside to eat. On the old style service theme, I don't know the last time I went to a movie in a theatre. We go to the drive in movies in the summer because the kids can sleep and we can watch the movie!
When there's a big snowstorm coming (like now,) I usually go out and buy beer and/or wine before I buy food. That reminds me- I have an errand to run when H wakes up...
It took me a few minutes to figure out you don't mean a marshmallow flavor blizzard from DQ. California girl never been in a blizzard ignorance. I don't know what the proper terms are to wish safety during a blizzard, but that's my hope for all of you out there.
jnu76 I do the same when we have a snowstorm coming. We haven't had a snowstorm this year, it's a very warm winter and we have no snow. We would normally have 6-7 feet by now but instead we have brown grass.
Do it! Mmmm marshmallows... As soon as I have time in the bakery (maybe Thursday), I'm going to try making smoked marshmallows by infusing them with Lapsang Souchong tea. And then serving them up with maple snaps and chocolate.

Excellent! I thought I was supposed to be all frugal about it. I'll consider myself absolved. At the rate things are going, H will be potty trained before J, so they won't be available anyway. FFFC- I'm a complete failure at potty training. Yesterday J stood in front of me and said "I'm working on a poop." I said "Great! Let's go sit on the potty!" and he said "I don't want to poop on the potty. I want to poop in my pants."
unaveragejane you are missing out! Root beer is so good, especially is it is made into a root beer float!
Dammit! I drank the last of the root beer before making a float. I discovered that a sorbet is better for floats because they get that ice crust faster than regular ice cream and I have coconut sorbet.

I never had thought of using sorbet! That is going on my grocery list!

A lot of A's friends would drink "pirate in a barrel" at the bar. It's coconut rum and root beer. It's almost as popular here as crown royal and Mountain Dew.

Yeah, I make my H do all the bathing of our son. I told him it's his job and they need bonding time. Even now that he is FF during the day, I still make him do it.
