I worked out at 8 pm tonight, which I hate doing. If I don't get it done in the morning, exercise doesn't usually happen, so this is an accomplishment for me! No binges today even though I was home all day...kept busy cooking a new healthy recipe and cleaning up while taking care of the babe.

Yay for all of the other successes today, too!
Yay! Congrats on no excuses today!
Does anyone have any tips on getting the extra energy to put in a workout at the end of the day - 8, 9 PM? People have suggested putting on workout clothes in general to get into the mindset. Any other strategies that have worked, especially after a long exhausting day?

Ok so I was terrible this weekend - it was my birthday and only 2nd time having date night since DD was born. I had tequila and wine and then ate bojangles the next morning because hangover ugh!
But thanks to you ladies I got back on the wagon yesterday, no binge eating and I went running. Today I am buying a jogging stroller and making lactation cookies to help my supply!
What's your goal? Either this week or overall? I want to lose 10-15 lbs and feel better. I am doing a 39 mile walk (in two days) in July and need to be training for it so I don't feel like I'm dying when I actually walk it.
Any upcoming challenges you want help/ideas with? My biggest challenge is trying to fit exercise into my routine. I have been good about going on a walk with LO on the weekends but the week days feel impossible. After work I'm busy getting everything ready for the next day, preparing dinner and trying to get some time with LO before he goes down. I also love food and have used BF as an excuse
QOTW: What's your favorite physical activity? walking and hiking. I'm really hoping DH and I can go on a hike this weekend.

Where on earth is there a 39 mile walk?!? How many hours in the two days will you be spent walking? Obviously I am super intrigued...

Haha! It's the Avon 39 mile challenge to raise money for breast cancer research. I am doing with my mom in San Francisco (they do it in multiple cities). You walk 26 miles the first day and 13 the second day. I am assuming it will take about 13 hours to walk on the first day. I'm slightly terrified of it, TBH, and think I might have lost my mind by agreeing to do it with my mom.
Question: What is a healthy/acceptable number of lactation cookies to consume in a day. I usually have 2-4 at work and 2 more at home. Am I going overboard? I know they really do make an impact on my supply because when I don't have any for a few days, my supply drops.

Yay! I'm the same way. Id much rather workout in the a.m. But since I'm already getting up around 5:30 to get me and DD ready, I think I'll have to get used to night workouts for a while.

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever prefer pm workouts, but I'd like to get used to it because any time I can spend sleeping in the morning right now is much needed!

There is no way I would wake up early to work out. My best sleep has been in the early am and is much needed.
I also have to do evening/night workouts...which are so hard to get motivated for! I was proud of myself today, did a little pilates during DD's nap and ran 3 miles (very slowly!) when my DH got home from work. It was hard to get out the door but it was nice out so I forced myself and really felt great

Im impressed you ladies work out at night... If 3pm hits and I haven't worked out mostly likely I wont. Luckily my husband is home for most of the day so I don't have to wake up early to have DH help with the baby. I guess I am realize I have zero excuses for not working out because our schedule makes it so much easier then most of you ladies!
I know I failed the check-in last Friday. I will make it this Friday (and going forward). I went back to work last week... Between that and the weather, things spiraled. But a routine has emerged and I will do better!!
Hope you guys have been doing well. I haven't... Ha ha. But that's why I NEED THIS! More soon. And I am sorry!
