I've been sick the past couple days but had to go to work to finish report cards and because I'm out of sick leave. So put sent report cards home yesterday with my sicky germs all over all of them. Now I'm staying home today because eff you cold.
Here's mine. I haven't weighed myself since I got pregnant...
Since DS has been born I have been obsessed with what the number on the scale is... I don't know why. I have no time to exercise and BF makes me hungrier than when I was pregnant. SO no weight loss till DS is weaned...

My team lead is a good friend of mine and I adore him as a person but he is an absolutely awful lead. No leadership and lazy AF.
So, yesterday they were having issues and both leads were telling me about it and I kept saying, "well, why don't you call the insurance company and verify?" And he just nodded and smiled and I could just tell he wasn't going to do shit. When he walks back to his desk I asked my other lead if she wanted me to call and I did and found out what the issue was.
While I was calling, i guess he called too but couldnt get ahold of anyone (I had to redial 3 times because the extensions weren't working) so he gave up. Our manager walked up and they were talking about it and he said he wasn't able to speak with anyone and my other lead said "well, she's on the phone with them right now".
My manager was surprised and I think it made him look a bit bad but in a weird way i was kinda glad she got to see how useless he actually is.
Am I awful? I'm so sick of covering his ass though.
Eta: paragraphs
Not awful. He sounds lazy and comfortable, so I think he needed the wake up call.

We are trying to get my sister-in-law to come babysit sometime soon (hopefully tomorrow night) for a much needed date night. As soon as we get confirmation, I plan to book a hotel room to use for 3-4 hours. These are my plans: Take a bath with the door shut, have sex without listening for the baby, order pizza and/or room service and eat it while it is warm, and then shower with the door shut. Then I'll have to somehow get myself together so my sister-in-law thinks we just went to dinner and a movie.

Since returning to work after maternity leave, I simply don't give a fuck. I'm not extending my days to make up for pumping time. I'm leaving at 3:30 today so that I can go to the gym and still get home at my normal time.
I'm no where near my pre pregnancy jeans but I found a random pair of jeans that I never remember buying because they are still 4 sizes above pre pregnancy but I tried them on and they buttoned. Now the flaming part, I have been wearing them off and on, not everyday, for over two weeks and I just now washed them. I was afraid they won't button after being washed and dried. Even more flame worthy, I probably wouldn't have washed them yet if it wasn't for the damn snow melting and mud. It was just nice to button pants again.

You know you can put them in the freezer and that will kill the germs? No need to wash so often

Isn't freezing what the jean companies recommend (I am thinking of Levi specifically) to make jean last longer? I have never tried it.
My confession: I've already had to take a HPT...and was disappointed that I got a BFN.

Earlier today I saw an RV that was brown and white and looked like it had just driven off of the breaking bad set in a local parking lot. I was so excited and had to get a picture to send to my sister with the caption "I found Walt and Jesse, bitch!!!" When I drove close enough I saw my ex husbands car sitting next to it. I drove past their house and it is empty with a big, full dumpster in front. Omg they are living in that rv! Made my day.
I give no fucks at work this weekend. We have an inspection coming up and all we are going to be doing all weekend until the inspection team gets here is cleaning. I go on leave for two weeks starting Monday, and it can't come soon enough.

Karma, bitches!
Exactly. He abandoned his kid and has made zero effort in 8 years to even make contact, I actually think karma needs to stick it to him a little more!

!!!UPDATE!!!
I pulled it off! Found a cheap but nice hotel on hotwire and got a babysitter; had really good sex for the first time since before I got pregnant (sex didn't feel the same during pregnancy and I've been unable to focus since I had the baby); took a long hot bath; ordered italian to our room and ate until we felt sick; and then came on home and went to bed. This may sound braggy, but it is seriously the most clever thing I have come up with in a really long time and I highly recommend anyone who is able to plan a similar night. It was so nice to feel like the old "us" again, as I've had a really hard time balancing attention to our marriage in with attention to the kids ever since I had the baby.
