Tell me about your pots and pans....

I need to replace our big skillet and our giant, deep sided skillet; we have anodized aluminum now. What kind of pots and pans do you have? Love em? Hate em?

We have a Calphalon hard anodized set that we got as a wedding present. I like them but I don't see how the $400 set of cookware is any better than a $100 set. But I'm not much of a cook so what do I know? And I hate that they're not dishwasher safe.

We have a stainless steel All Clad set and love them. DH also bought me a cast iron skillet for Christmas and I use that most now.

My mom got us a Curtis stone Pan and it's actually my new favorite. I also love our pots and pans from pampered chef. They all cook really evenly.

We have kitchenid hard anodized pans that e got 10 years ago. Love them and we do a lot of cooking. I highly recommend kitchenaif...never have had any issues with anything

I got a cuisinart hard adonized stainless steel set on sale from Zulily a few months ago and I love them. My previous set was a really cheap set from Walmart that we were given for our wedding.. They didn't hold up well...

We have a set of stainless steel pans. The same set I grew up with in my mom's kitchen that she's had for over 25 years. They are awesome and I can't imagine I will ever need to buy another pot or pan again.

We have a mixture of skillet types - stainless for browning ground beef or turkey, nonstick (because scrambled eggs and pancakes), and cast iron that is amazing for whole meats and veggies. We honestly use them all frequently. I also love my dutch oven.

I just got the Rachel Ray non-stick pans in January. They are ok. I only wash them by hand since the packaging said it was best to do that way. I use them a lot. The non stick stuff got nicked on one of the pans by a knife or something just sitting in the sink. I was so mad about that. Also the bottom gets really ugly looking brownish/black stuff on it that is hard to get off. I've used a magic eraser several times, but gave up. So I guess what I'm trying to say is if you can't afford something else. Stay away from them.

I have Emeril hard anodized- it's made by All Clad but cheaper. I like them a lot. I also have a big Cuisinart anodized skillet that I use a lot.

Currently I have a combo of lodge cast iron, staub, mauviel and all clad copper core. My first real set was the calphalon hard anodized one, which I loved, but I now have an electric range and it didn't even my distribute the heat. Do you have a Sur La Table near you? Their associates are beyond helpful with advice and real usage anecdotes.

I also have the Caphalon hard anodized that we got for our wedding. I love them and we do lots of cooking. They've held up really well. They aren't dishwasher safe and I only use plastic or wood utensils but other than that they are awesome.

We have a stainless steel set we got for our wedding about 2 years ago from Bed, Bath & Beyond. I love them and they're easy to clean!

That's exactly what we have; got for our wedding too! They've lasted 8 years and the pots are still in great condition but the two big pans are just awful.

I've got mostly Calphalon nonstick. They are OK, not great. My favorite frying pan is actually from Pampered Chef. I use it all the time.

And I think I may check out some stainless ones. We have a smaller cast iron skillet that I love but I like the ease of cleaning the stainless, not worrying about keeping em seasoned or anything. And we actually have an all-clad dutch oven and smaller sauce pot that were my parents, so, 30 years old? They still get a lot of use and are in perfect condition....so maybe that was an easier decision than I though.....

We purchased giant stainless steel stockpots for next to nothing at a restaurant supply in Chinatown(NYC).

I have a whole cabinet full of non-stick pots and pans and almost exclusively use my big Lodge cast iron pan. I actually especially love it for eggs and pancakes, I've never had anything more "non-stick" than the cast iron with a bit of oil.

I have 2 calphalon frying pans and one high walled pan from them. I love them but they were all gifts so I didn't have to pay for them.

A few years ago we decided to go All Clad and started acquiring them piece by piece. Love 'em! I do go le creuset for my dutch oven though.

I got the dishwasher safe version. Never would have put pans in the dishwasher before DS, but I'm glad I have that option because some days dishes just aren't getting done if they can't go in the washer!

We have a set of stainless steel Wolfgang Puck pots and moans that we got from Sam's Club shortly after we got married. I love them!

I got a non stick and a stainless steel set from my bridal shower. Right now I'm using the non stick and they do their job. The wok is my favorite piece from the set.

I cook at least 80% of stuff in my enameled cast iron dutch oven. We got it on sale at the Le Creuset outlet. It is a little bit of a splurge but we use it for almost everything. We use a nonstick Calphalon skillet and a couple stainless steel Cuisinart saucepans for everything else.

Wut? Why not? I always put my stainless in the dishwasher, never had a problem.

H & I have an old TFal set we bought a few years ago when we got our first place, as well as a cast iron skillet. I've been wanting to upgrade for awhile but they're still in pretty good shape so it seems wasteful to get rid of them.
