Hey everyone, I figured I would do a quick intro post.
I just found out June 18 I am expecting my second. This was a total surprise and not expected since I was on the pill. Come to find out my family doc did not bother to inform me that the Topomax he gave me invalidated my BC. So here I am. I have no idea how along I am, though I'm guessing somewhere between 8 to 10w. I plan to see an On this week. Our biggest concerns right now are since I didn't know I was pregnant, I have not been taking care of myself and up until 2 days ago, taking my meds still. So hoping all is well with this bean.
Otherwise, I already have a 21m old. This will be the last for Dh and I since I am also about to turn 38 in a few months so I am already high risk. Looking forward to being part of the community again. I haven't been active since TB exploded.
Congrats! I'm kinda shocked the doctor wouldn't tell you about your meds interfering with your birth control. That seems irresponsible? Anyway, welcome!
Yeah I was to. Neither did the pharmacy. It is what it is, and it was meant to be.

Yeah...congrats. Don't know why but this is rubbing me weirdly.
Also, generally when I'm prescribed any medications I find it's my responsibility to ask doctors/pharmacists if there are interactions I should be aware of, not the other way around.

The reason I didnt ask is because I was on it before for almost 3y, while on BC. The only thing my doc told me was that I could not breastfeed.
Im not upset about being pregnant, just scared that I may have done harm by taking meds. I appreciate the congrats though. And I am high risk because I had issues with my BP last time around and was borderline diabetic.
