So, I've never lurked or posted in this thread before because -- well, seriously, my couch is way more comfortable.
That said, the OB said I could work out and I really, really, want to get my legs and ass in shape. Besides squatting a hundred times a day, what else is no/low impact that I could be doing?
Thanks, healthy ladies! (feel free to kick me out of your thread -- like I said, I've never lurked, let alone posted....)
This week was so-so, I was away for the weekend and so busy that I didn't get in an actual workout, but I was on my feet and active the whole time so not too bad.
I did manage two good runs, then got hit with a combo of cold/ exhaustion/ and morning sickness and couldn't drag myself out of bed the last two mornings.
Nutrition was also so-so- hotel food over the weekend, but I did well during the week except for the occasional donuts I have been craving so hard!

I did ok this. I went to barre three times which is good, but I did nothing the other 4 days. Hope to do better next week. I am going to add in a yoga and a day of cardio. I am a little person and I gain. Weight easily and I don't want to have too much stubborn weight after this pregnancy.
One long walk and 2.5 barre classes (the half is the attempt I made to follow a youtube video at home - but it was too many squats and lunges for my crappy knees so I stopped about half way through). I really miss the days (pre DS) when I could work out 5 days a week. Now I'm ecstatic if I can get on 3 days - so I call this week a win!
I went but it sucked, got winded so easily, had to modify movements, kinda frustrating. I just see these woman crossfitting 9 months pregnant and I thought, yeah that'll be me... Nope, definitely not me.
I wish I had the energy to workout! I did go to the gym last Saturday (30 min on elliptical) and Sunday (35 min pilates) and will try again this weekend.
I do walk a lot at work...and walk my 2 dumb dogs some...
I've done three of my four runs for the week. I've actually been motivated to go the past two days as well, but it's rainy. On the nutrition front, ehhhhh. Ice cream is just so delicious.
My diet is awesome. Better than ever and I'm so proud. It's stupid cold and crappy outside and so I'm slacking on my walking. I'm ashamed to admit that I've convinced myself that I'll just kick into gear second tri.

I walked for 10 minutes on the treadmill yesterday. 10 MINUTES. That's it! And then I bled like a mo' fo'. I'm super freaked out about doing anything more active than breathing at this point. (Using my best whiny voice) But I really want to do active things again like run and jump and have sex! (Mmmm...I miss sweaty sex.)

Hi arbe ! I've missed you around here. This week was admittedly not great. I was sick and had a fever for a few days, and my back has decided to have debilitating pain at random times. I went once, and I felt like that was a win for this week. I'm having a hard time mentally with how much muscle I've lost. I've only gained about 3 lbs so far, but I know fat has replaced a lot of muscle. I know it's normal but it's still hard to watch something you worked so hard for fly out the window. Oh well, it's temporary and worth it.
Also, Hang in there. You will be one of those crossfitting at 9 months pregnant. No shame in scaling depending on how you are feeling at that particular time. The key is that we can't be too hard on ourselves. Getting to the gym is 90% of the battle, just moving in any way possible is the other 10%.

I actually ran/walked last week and did a utube yoga video. I'm still really winded really quickly and today my BP decided to drop and I almost passed out while seeing a patient so I'm going to take it easy this weekend. I'm going to try and make it to some yoga next week.
