Breakfast food seems to be the only thing I can eat this week. Nothing else sounds good. Toast and almond butter, OJ, scrambled eggs, breakfast bars, fruit smoothies. At least I have come up with a variety of options...
Also super emotional crying this evening. Before I got into the midwife practice I wanted I made an appointment with an OB as a backup. Apparently I can only cancel that appointment during business hours so I have to find an isolated spot and call from work tomorrow (apt is for Monday). I'm irrationally upset by this.

I just had maple brown sugar Life cereal for dinner because I couldn't stomach the thought of eating anything else. It was delicious. This was the first time I've had a food aversion though, which makes me sad since I am trying to eat healthy due to a high risk for GD

I have felt absolutely terrible for the last three days and I can't decide if I am legitimately sick or if the baby is just leeching all the energy out of my system. I don't exactly feel sick, just shaky, weird and completely exhausted. I have to travel this weekend, so I really need my body to get it together.

Are you eating enough? I feel that way when I wait too long between eating things. I hope it's something as easy as that! Eat frequently and get some naps in!

I think so. I'm trying to eat healthy snacks and drink water consistently. I took yesterday off work, did very little and slept a good deal, but I still feel like I could sleep for days. Considering leaving a bit early to nap today, but obviously that's not something that can become a habit. Hopefully it's just a phase, but I'll certainly be listening to my body and calling the doc if things get worse or don't get better.
I took DD to storytime this morning and came home to find brown blood in my underwear. I called my OB office and the nurse said to drink lots of fluids and let them know if it turns red or flowy like a period. My friend is telling me she spotted because of low progesterone. I'm thinking of calling the office back and asking to come in to get blood drawn. I'm freaking out!!!

I've been noticing, like, short strings of mucus when I pee (I see them in the toilet before I flush). They're not bloody or anything, though. Is that normal? I'm taking progesterone supplements vaginally, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I insert them at bedtime, though, so it's been several hours already.

I *think* I've been seeing the same things and I'm not on the progesterone.

My boobs are officially bigger. They look like they went up a whole cup size and the smaller one is catching up. I know this is stupid and not true - but I keep thinking to myself if can't be a blighted ovum if my boobs are actually growing.
I'll just be over here in the corner crunching numbers some more. Who knew pregnancy would have so much maths?!

This was me last pregnancy. I described it as feeling hung over all the time. Sorry to say, but for me it lasted 10 weeks.

I am 6 weeks 2 days and this time last pregnancy i was already in full morning sickness mode. This time around i dont feel as sick/hung over. It's there, but not as bad, and im grateful because i have a toddler to take care of. I told her we will do lots of reading, because mama doesnt have the energy for all the running around we did last week.
My boobs never got sore like last time, and thats okay with me, too. Smells are worse for me now, but nothing has made me gag yet.

I would be *thrilled* if this mess is over at 10 weeks. I had a mini breakdown thinking about how this could last for another month or more

+1 to the growing boobs. I bought a glorious Lily Pulitzer dress in Key West this spring that I've only gotten to wear once so far. I tried to put it on Sunday and it no longer zips over my tata's. I cried for like 10 minutes. There went $200 well spent.
Is the diclegis not working anymore, lemoncupcake?
Tmi warning...
I've only vomited once since I started it Friday night, which is good I guess. That first day was glorious, but now I'm still nauseous 75% of the time. Just without the V.
But I'm so exhausted that I'm nervous to step up my dose and take any during the day. I might give it a shot this weekend to see how it goes.
I'm sorry. I read somewhere that Zofran is safe after 10 weeks, so maybe you could ask your doctor about that? It really, really helped during my pregnancy with DS and the only side effect is constipation. So maybe in like 10 days you could switch to something more effective?
Thank you! I got blood work done today and I go Tuesday for an u/s and more blood work just to be sure everything is fine. My OB is not worried about it, she is doing all of this to make me feel better.
Sometimes I think, "We put a man on the moon; why haven't we been able to figure out a way to make pregnancy less awful?!" Fucking science being a male-dominated field.
