Please forgive me for what I think is a repeat of a bump conversation. We're starting swim lessons Wednesday and I need a reusable swim diaper. So I have 2 questions: which have you used and liked? And do they wear anything under them?

A reusable swim diaper is just a cloth diaper cover with no insert. So it doesn't soak up pee (or pool water) but keeps the poop out of the pool. iPlay makes one that some people like but I ended up using a cheap Charlie banana brand diaper cover.
Be aware that all swim diapers just let the pee run right out. So after class, you probably don't want to hang around for a long while with LO just in a swim diaper!
ETA - nothing under the swim diaper. A disposable diaper in a pool would likely explode and make a giant mess.
check wit your swim school ours required a disposable swim diaper AND the iplay cover IMO- the iplay swim diaper is different than a regular CD cover. I regular CD cover may work though..

Do you mean a disposable swim diaper (like huggies little swimmers?) and an iplay cover? Just curious!

DS has been going weekly to the pool since 2 months. We use iPlay swim diapers. Never had a problem - nothing on under them (they claim to have triple layer protection whatever whatever).
