Ughhhh... Case of the Mondays!

S14 was dead today!! Clearly everyone is having a case of the mondays!!

I had no desire to be at work today, weather was gorgeous and I was stuck in that pit. Is it Friday yet?! Oh and H had DD today and took her to a farm to see baby animals, thanks asshat, I didn't want to be there!

I feel like I've been in a fog all day. Lo started the day at 5, so I guess that had some bearing on it. Lol.

Dh and ss came home from playing tennis an hour late. It enrages me when I run around trying to cook and keep lo happy and then they don't show on time. I told dh that every dish better be cleaned when they are done.

That engrages me also! UGHHHHHHH!

Today was a mix of emotions. The big kids were at the church helping with some demolition work before there is some remodeling started so that was nice but the little kids were cranky. Can't win.

My foot finally got the best of me in Costco today and prompted an urgent care visit. Verdict: tendonitis. Personally, I think it was 20 minutes before closing and the doc didn't care. ( I actually heard him cheering about there being 17... Oops no, 14 minutes before he could leave when I was on my way out.) so, I am on 800mg ibuprofen and ice and wrap it if I need to. So I took the ibuprofen plus an extra for good measure, wrapped that sucker and headed to the gym. I took too many days off and it was making me nuts. I'm being careful and either adjusting or changing things altogether if I feel pain or tenderness but so far, I'm ok. Yay!

Aright, back to my weights!! Feels so good to be back here!

Sorry the doc sucked. If it does keep bugging you I would go to a specialist. Foot Dr or at least a non surgeon ortho. Urgent care providers really don't know much about sports injuries. And your guy sounded extra half assed. Also I know you are frustrated with all the pain and as someone with multiple sports injuries I totally get that but now I'm going to be a naggy nurse. No need to double up on ibuprofen. That 800 is as good as it gets. After that you are just hurting your kidneys. Hope your foot feels better soon.

thelittlesrunmylife, sorry about your foot but vavavictoria is right, you should probably have a second opinion with someone who actually has a clue. Hope it starts to feel better soon!

I am just seeing this! Work was crazy busy yesterday so that limited my time on here. And I have started reading on my pumping breaks and I am to into the last Harry Potter book to not get some reading in lol.

@giamia923, your LO is a cutie!

DS made me pay for letting him sleep at Grandma's for two nights. He was up non stop last night. At grandma's he only woke up once both nights. So he can do longer stretches, I guess he feels I don't need sleep lol.

@adulruna, I hate when people go over their pump time at work! You reserved the room for 30 minutes...that should be enough! If it isn't then reserve it for longer so that I don't come down there thinking the room is open.

@adulruna, I couldn't imagine a manual pump being my only source of pumping. I feel like I spend so much time attached to my electric one lol. I feel kind of bad for her now....

Thanks everyone! I am feeling a little better today. Still a little sore from time to time but so far not the intense pain. Fingers crossed it stays away. I should clarify, I wasn't taking another 800mg ibu, I am just taking the 200mg tabs and I took one extra before the gym because it had been a few hours since the original 800mg.
