If your toddler suddenly starts running around with a pacifier in his mouth...
If the white noise machine suddenly becomes soothing to you too (in addition to the baby)!
+1 to the toddler pacifier. Little man stopped using one around 8 months? But has been playing with them since LO arrived (and shortly before actually)

Same here @ silv3rlining! G stopped using one around that same time as well... It was so weird turning around and seeing one in his mouth!! He's also formed a liking to play with all of the newborn toys, play mats etc.... Who knew they could be so fascinating to a 2 year old!
@ gigi3126, I have the Baby Feed app (which I believe is iBaby Feed Timer)... I've been really happy with it! It does a fantastic job tracking breastfeeding, wet/dirty diapers, sleep, and a few other things. I recommend it!
The thing that drains your phone battery isn't Facebook anymore...now, it's your app that keeps track of baby's feeds/diapers/naps. Couldn't live without it!
I was looking at these the other day. I still have an inside baby, but I'm running out of things to prep. Do you have a recommendation?
I'm using the one my favorite nurse suggested while we were in the hospital. It's called FeedBaby. It's so easy to use! Only downside is I can't share it with DH so he has to log his feedings/changes etc on my phone.

We sync it between our phones. Had to pay for 2 apps but it's nice to share.
You might have a newborn if you used your toddler's pajama pants to wipe up pee that sprayed all over the wall. Hey, they were the first thing within reach.
This reminds me, I'm the mom of a newborn girl after having a boy because the first time she peed during a diaper change and it just rolled down into her dirty diaper rather than sprayed up and into her face/wall/me I had to text my mom to say how excited I was about this new experience lol!
Meanwhile the first diaper change at home my baby girl totally peed at me, So there's always a chance.

I gave up on using an App because it became too complicated in the middle of the night for me hahahaha. We literally are going old school with a paper and a pen to track feelings, ounces, and poop/pees. I can't believe how much that chart runs our lives haha.
....if eating a meal at the table with two hands and being able to chew each bite at a normal civilised speed feels like luxury
This happened exactly today and I commented on it. I went to my parents' house for a very late Father's Day lunch and my mum held the baby so I could eat dinner. I literally said "Eating with two hands? At a table? What a luxury!" and Mum added "with other people! And the food is hot!" Yeah, I actually can't remember the last time that happened. Pretty sure I was still pregnant.

I use BabyMamma. They let you try the full app for a week before you buy it. It tracks growth, sleep, diapers, breastfeeding, and bottle feeding. And it'll sync with husband's phone. I like it.
