It's Tuesday! What does everyone have to share this week?

1. Ahhhh! I was typing away. Then iPad froze, so I lost my post. Oh well.

2. We went to Ocean City last week. DS liked the sand but not the ocean. DS did very well in car as we drove there and back.

3. While we were there we saw a wedding on the beach. We watched it from the condo our friends rented. We also saw a couple get engaged or the proposal. Our friends and us were sitting right next to the couple. Of course DS and our friends' kid were doing what toddlers do best. The couple did not look at our table once.

4. The maxi dresses I ordered last week fit! No hemming required. Usually I need to hem everything because petites are still too long!

5. It feels great to be on summer break.

6. It is going to be a hot day! Heat index is going to be 100 or near it. Thinking about where to go once DS wakes up from his nap. Somewhere it is cool. Our a/c sucks.

7. We went our friends' pool yesterday. DH likes the pool.

8. DS is napping. I should be working on my online class.

9. I want a frozen margarita or a sangria.

10. I love going to the thrift store. Yesterday I got $25 worth of stuff. Toys for the plane ride, a dump truck for DS, shorts for DS and DH and pants for me. The clothes were brand name too! Plus 25% off.

1. I had an ultrasound yesterday. DS is measuring 8lb9oz and I'm only 34 weeks!
2. Dr said she expects him to be 10+ pounds
3. My coworker is complaining nonstop today. I'm kind of tired of hearing it.
4. I just ordered 2 nursing bras for $6.97 each from Motherhood Maternity! I'm pretty excited about the deal lol
5. I'm trying really hard to eat healthier. With LO measuring big Dr says I'm probably borderline diabetic even though I passed the 3 hour test :*(
6. DH has been great lately! He was not nearly as supportive and helpful when I was pregnant with DD. I think it's more real this time since we've been through it once before.
7. I have so much to do. I wish I could take a couple of days off work and just do baby things without DD home. I finally made up the crib last night and washed a load of baby clothes. That is nothing compared to what's weighing on my mind!
8. My anniversary is next week. I really want to do something but so far I don't think either of us have made any plans or really given it much thought. I'd like to arrange a babysitter and just have some alone time.
9. DD is wonderful, I swear I'm not always looking for ways to get away from her.
10. She is so dang sweet! Constantly blowing kisses. Now at bedtime when I take her in her room to put her to bed, she runs back out over to her daddy and gives him a kiss. Then comes straight back to me and into bed without a problem! Her first and last word every day is "daddy"...today, word #2 was "grandpa"

1. I'm laying on the couch while DD naps, I should be napping too but I always find something to get distracted with. Today it is TTT.

2. We went to Target today so I could find a comfortable dress for a baby shower this weekend. I found a dress but also came home with chocolate donuts, lucky charms, and a pizza lunchables. Wow, I feel like a 5 year old but that's what sounded good at the time.

3. I need to seriously watch what I'm eating, I really don't want to gain more then I did with my 1st pregnancy.

4. 7w2d today! DH thought I'd be feeling better in the next couple of weeks, apparently he has already forgot that the yuckiness lasts typically the entire 1st trimester. He was shocked, haha.

5. We got a flat tire this weekend about 40 minutes into our 3.5 hour drive to a wedding. It sucked so bad because I was also getting sick in the car and to top it all off after we found a shop to get a new tire, we missed the wedding. We decided to still go to the reception since it was my step sister getting married, which we thankfully made.

6. We left after 3 hours of the reception to head home and after driving 15 minutes we got stuck in very slow moving/stopped traffic for 2 hours. It ended up being the area where the cops were looking for the escaped convicts in NY. It was crazy, cops with shotguns standing all over the highway, ATVS, and searching every car.

7. A 7 hour drive turned into an 11 hour drive, needless to say I was exhausted and did nothing on sunday.

8. DD did so well with her grandparents all day on saturday and even went to sleep ok for them, next up is a sleepover for her

9. I'm trying to avoid family as much as possible right now since they dont know I'm pregnant and it's so hard. I've come so close to telling my mom but ideally I'd like to wait until after my 1st appt (I'll be 9w5d).

10. This season of the Bachelorette is driving me nuts. Why cant they keep the same format with the rose ceremony at the end of the show instead of waiting til the following week to have it. Ugh.

ajaan113 Maxi dresses never fit me right either, I'm probably one of the only women who don't own any. I've tried but it just doesn't work and I don't want to hem them.

carli DD loves saying Daddy too, as soon as I pick her up out of her crib that's the first thing she says and he's only home on the weekends when she wakes up. I hope you get some time to get some things done for baby, it's so different this time around with having a toddler to keep you busy all the time.

jnetx Sorry to hear about your car, that must be so frustrating. I hope they can get it in sooner and you get a loaner so you don't have to worry about it anymore. Enjoy your dinner

1. I can't seem to get as excited about Baby 2 as I was with DS1.

2. I think it's because I am going through and experiencing everything alone this time

3. I had the glucose test this am

4. DH is now saying he wants a "divorce" and doesn't even want to try at all

5. I'm so depressed by that, I don't want to lose my family and be apart

6. DS1 has already cut at least TWO of his 2 year molars

7. Eviction date for DS2 is TENTATIVELY set for September 24

8. It wasn't easy entertaining a toddler for 2 hours in a Dr office

9. I feel like if DH really does go through with a divorce he won't want to be in Baby 2's life

10. DH hasn't been home in 5 weeks now.

mommytoone I'm so, so sorry you're going through this. I hope with time things work themselves out and that at the very least your DH stays involved in both your children's lives. I can't imagine how emotional this is for you, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

mommytoone, I am sorry you find yourself struggling right now.

jnetx, your car situation is completely unacceptable. Two things I would try if you haven't already (1) either show up to the dealership first thing in the morning to see if they will take it or if that doesn't work (2) start emailing managers/presidents/dealership owners. They are *usually* more focused on customer satisfaction versus the guy answering the phone and can tell the appropriate people that your situation needs to be addressed ASAP. Car problems suck

1. I'm in the car with the kids while DH is in the store buying CAKE!

2. Tomorrow is my birthday.

3. DH's cousin came to visit and stayed 3 hours. We don't see her often so it was a lot of awkward small talk.

4. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm soooo excited for Big Brother to start tomorrow.

5. We are having friends over to watch it/celebrate my birthday/meet baby.

6. We are also having sushi for lunch!

7. I can't believe that baby girl is already 8 days old!

8. I feel so much better than I did at this point postpartum with DD1. RCS recovery is really so much easier.

9. I broke down when DD1 wanted me to pick her up the other night. She has been extra clingy since we've been home from the hospital and I can't comfort her like normal.

10. I wish that I could bend over to shave my legs. They are pretty terrible but it still hurts too much to bend. Haha.

mommytoone I am so sorry about your situation. I really hope things work out the best way possible for you. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

sugarkissed I love hearing your updates! Is it strange to say "the kids" now instead of just my daughter? I'm actually really looking forward to that and sometimes already say "the kids" when I feel like I can appropriately lol. Has DD1 been handling not being picked up by you pretty well overall? I'm very nervous about that b/c my DD is still very big on being carried and I don't typically say no.
