Can we talk panty liners for a minute? The progesterone suppositories mean I am wearing a lot of panty liners. My lady bits do not like the brand I use. They are supposed to be some awesome, scientifically engineered ones blah blah blah. Really they are hot feeling and at the same time seem to be scratching? my lady bits. So, I know this is random but I have always bought these Always fancy liners but never had to wear them so much. What brand/kind do you like? These do not make me feel clean like they promise!

I was going to be asking you about this situation in a few weeks because that's when I will start the progesterone suppositories. Looks like I need to stock up!

It is not awful or anything, just enough to want a little something to catch it. I only have to use mine at night so I put it in right before bed and that helps a lot. Do you know if you will be a once a day or twice a day user yet? I know some people do two times a day but my Dr said I was good with once.

When I talked with her at my last appt, she said just for overnight, but I go back on Monday and we might discuss then. I'm 14 weeks today and she mentioned starting around 16 weeks so maybe the next appt in 2 weeks she will start it then. Gosh I hope only 1 time a day! I can't imagine it would be very comfortable during the day.
junkytrunk, I am glad I am a 1 time a day user too! I think it would be a lot of stuff coming back out if you use them in the morning. Also, sometimes the leftover cream that comes out can look slightly discolored.. even pinkish or light brown sometimes, so don't let that freak you out! I will gladly answer any questions.. I used them from week 4-16 with JA and have been on them now since week 6 and I am 8 weeks now.

mrsrek10 ok good to know. I think I'll be on them from 16 weeks until the end to help prolong my pregnancy past the 35 week mark like i got to last time. I'm sure my H will think it's super sexy.
I either use the black box Kotex ones, where they're all wrapped in neon colors, or the always that are wrapped in blue. I haven't heard my vagina complaining yet!

Always Incredibly Thin here too. They're the best ones I've found. I've been wearing them daily for the super attractive end of pregnancy sweat/discharge/occasional pee, and my lady bits haven't complained of any scratching!
mrsrek10, I have been wearing panty liners daily for the last 10+ years and love the Always (they are the thinest), Playtex (they are new and just like the Carefree body shape) and Carefree body shape. I gravitate towards the Playtex since there have been so many coupons lately since they are new. Good luck to you!

junkytrunk, butting in here. I had to do them twice a day and in the mornings I just set my alarm about 30 minutes early, put one in and then went back to bed. That way most of it drained while I was in the shower. The nighttime one (I did them 12 hours apart, so 6 AM and 6 PM) was worse for me. But then again I only had to do mine through 16 weeks, so I didn't really feel like DTD with my H at that point anyway. GL!
Had my appt today and it's only at night, but it's 2 at a time. Apparently I need 200mg and they only come in 100mg tablets. Oy.
Hmmm, I thought mine were 200 mg but could be wrong. I will check my label when I get home. I do know that mine have to be compounded though. They aren't pre-made. I have to go to the local pharmacy to get them.
Also, I bought some Kotex liners this weekend and my lady bits are loving them. They are soft and feel like cotton. The Always liners I used where slick and were supposed to be extra absorbent but I swear they just felt wet within 5 minutes. So, Kotex for the win! Thanks for the input ladies!
No more suggestions here, but what in the hell are with the non-wrapped ones? I accidentally bought a box. How do I carry these in my purse? Gross
The ones I have are not wrapped. I just put them in a little zipper case that I keep in my work bag. It is a little bigger than a change purse but not huge. Just long and narrow enough for those to fit in there nicely.

mrsrek10, do you remember where you got that case? My new purse doesn't have the small zippered pocket my other ones had and that's where I would store everything. I really don't need my pads and tampons hanging out all the time!
