Thanks DD does the same thing regarding eating and her Pedi says that's fine. Thanks. I read somewhere that adding and extra feed during the day time around lunch time can help with night time feeds, but I worry about overfeeding/nursing

I would like to thank baby Tylenol for a solid 5.5 hours of sleep for me and at least 6 hours for DS. He was waking up every 45 minutes before sordering on the 2nd wakeep we dosed him. It's so hard to know when to medicate and when not to. Darn teeth making my baby uncomfortable.

I need a shower. I'm fairly certain I smell, but I'm going to bed without one. We need to wash the sheets anyway. Having a baby made me gross.

lotsofdotts, get out of my head! This happened to us last night also, except that the sheets didn't really need to be washed and I'm pretty sure they won't GET washed today, either. I need a cleanerrrrrrr! I need a better job so I can afford a cleanerrrrrr! sleep well!

My guy just has a melt down when there is TOO many strangers. He seems okay when its a low-key thing, but at a couple of parties I went to, or just around loud family members, he freaks the F out. I feel like he might start separation anxiety, but as for now, as long as he's with momma and there isn't 30 women in his face and nobody's making loud noises he's okay.. haha.

badw0lf, Omgsotrue. It's super annoying. And for a while I was getting "Why is he so fussy all the time" comments. I'm like - he's not! Leave him alone! The worst is when he wakes up from a nap and I take him out and everybody's in his face all at once.

I've never gotten so irritated than when somebody tries to tell me why my baby is crying. Even my mom. By now I know my baby pretty damn well and I am right 98% of the time so STFU.

So tell me if you would be annoyed too...:

DS is 2 months older than his cousin. My mom is constantly saying stuff that compares them. H insists she's not saying it to compare them but 'observing.' However I am still annoyed AF by it. She picks up one baby and is like 'Oh no, he's so much heavier than (the other),' 'You know (cuz) says hi, right?' 'M looks so much bigger, his head is bigger.' I'm just annoyed because babies are all different and I don't want to keep hearing about their differences or who's doing what. I said something and my mom was like 'I just like seeing what M is doing since he's older and cuz should start doing those things too.' OK, valid, but she keeps commenting on their appearance, not what they are doing.

^Maybe I'm a little sensitive because M is in the 4th percentile. But he's also 2 months older, so there SHOULD be obvious differences between them.. they aren't twins.

toadandbuggie, Totally get where you are coming from. There is a way to make observations about babies and there is what she is doing, which sounds different and way more annoying.

Eeegh I really hate the baby comparison game. Also, fwiw, DS also would "hiiii" at people when he was 3-4 months then it went away. It's just parroting the noise people make at them.

4th percentile too! We're percentile twinsies! (And our boys are awesome!!)

But seriously, who ever says: "valedictorian of his class at berlkley... He hit every milestone early as an infant, you know." Milestones are important, I do get it. But I hate the pressure from non doctors.

toadandbuggie Yes! MIL loves to compare DS to my 2.5yo niece from when she was a baby. She also compares our parenting style with bil and sil. What's hilarious about that is the fact that she criticizes their parenting, yet it's the gold standard and why are we doing something different?

Their second is 2 months younger than DS, so I imagine the comparisons will start with him soon.

I get the comparison to kids that are way older then DD like 5+ years older. I always hear when so and so was her I did XYZ, and you "done" spoiled that baby rotten... Umm no she's just not in the mood for anyone in her face at this time.

Ugh. Today's been a rough one. On top of DD not sleep last night and her screamfests before naps all day today. My mom called me this afternoon (who's manic depressant) and said she's been feeling low and wants to come over this evening after work... After I told her this morning over the phone that DD didn't sleep well and we were up all night and she's not a happy camper. I just don't get it. She's tried to commit suicide on two occasions so I guess I should be glad she's recognizing the signs and doing stuff to cheer her up but sheesh, it's been a rough night last night and all of us a tired. And also DD gets really fussy when my mom's in this type of mood and doesn't want her to hold her. It's like she can tell. I always blame it on sleepiness or teething but I don't want my mom feeling worse because DD is not only in her mood but feeding off her vibes... T&Ps please. I should take a nap while DD naps again. But I'm stressed and DH went on an interview for a way better paying jobs about 30 mins ago and I hope it gets it.

My LO would much prefer being in the big bed with H and I all night too, and seems to sleep better there. I'm pretty sure it's his goal every night. He usually wins around 5/5:30 when H gets up for work. If we had a bigger bed (we have a queen-sized), I would probably let it happen more because I love the snuggles but it feels cramped when all 3 of us are there together.

We have a queen too. DH has a tiny sliver of the bed by the AM. I think these LOs have us figured out... FUSS enough get in the bed with mommy and daddy.. and they win.... For now... Lol
