LO has been sleeping around 9pm. Not bad. She's been waking before 6am. Argh! Naps are only about 30-40 minutes, not long enough down time for mom and dad to accomplish much.

Rainy Sunday here, but I love rainy days. Hoping all of the sick babies feel better soon. We were there a week ago.
I started my new dietary changes. The Dietician gave me a meal plan with recipes and a shopping list. Most of the stuff I have tried is amazing! Almond butter, black bean burgers, kind bars and Lara bars. All new stuff! Today I try the breakfast smoithie that has tofu and whey protein Wish me luck.
LO had a bit of a rough night last night. I think his schedule was just screwed up because he went to a cancer relay fundraiser with my aunt, fell asleep (early) on the car ride home and stayed asleep.
When dh got up at 1am to go calm the baby down, he found him naked. No more nights of letting the baby sleep with only a diaper on!
LO then woke up again at 6am, wide awake. I got up this time, played a bit, took a bath and got him back down at about 7:30. Hoping he's in a better mood this morning -- I'm at work though, so it doesn't really make a difference to me.
Lo's cold makes napping miserable. She's so stuffy and has a wet phlegmy cough, so when she lays down she can't breathe or stay asleep. Last two nights she and I snuggled sitting up on the couch from 4-6am. Had to skip swim lessons this morning. I wish there was more I could do to help her breathe and rest.

At 1 am I woke up feeling super sick and sure enough I was very sick to my stomach. Not 5 minutes later dh got up and started vomiting too. Yuck-o! He was up every hour ... I just started back up again. I think we have food poisoning, no idea from what so we will likely be throwing everything (we ate yesterday) away today. Lo has been happily sleeping through it. I'm scared what today might bring. May have to call my mom for reinforcements.
Liam had a very tough night last night. It's most probably teething. About once a month or so we seem to have 2-3 really awful nights in a row of no sleep and lots of crying and he seems to Be extra drooly and Wants to chew everything around the same time.
Little miss is napping, but not before showing us she loves all her musical toys. She has a kick and play piano and a Baby Einstein music box. She insisted on setting both of them on simultaneously. Oh, the noise! Poor dog gave us the long suffering look.

Hugs for all the sick babies and parents. I just had my first bout of morning sickness. I forgot about the peeing aspect of throwing up. It's significantly worse now that I've already had a baby. Sigh. My dryer broke last night. Ughhhhh. It's only a couple years old, so I'm hoping I can get it repaired instead of buying a new one. In the meantime, I have piles of laundry. It's supposed to be 106* today.
Okay. I'm done whining. I hope everyone can get some rest today.

Another busy day here. We ended it by going out for frozen yogurt... and discovering that the frozen yogurt place is a good walking distance from our apartment. I'm pretty sure that's a dangerous thing. M was 7 months old yesterday. HOW?
I am going to go to bed early tonight. I am going to go to bed early tonight....

I'm super excited that the sewing project today turned out. My friend wanted to donate her wedding dress to a charity that turns them in burial outfits for babies. (She discovered them after a friend lost her child right before due the date). We made 2 pillows out of a portion of the skirt for her to keep so she had a piece of her dress and then give the rest to the charity.

My day got better after I whined here. We mostly stayed inside in the a/c, but we had a nice family nap. And Myles ate steak! He seemed to like it. I hope everyone is on the mend.

That is amazing. As a loss momma (no late losses) it warms my heart reading this. That dress will provide a lot of meaning to a family during a tragic time.
