everydayimshuffling big hugs. Reflux gets worse before it gets better and now is a common time. Is he trying to sit up yet? That will effect it, as well. It may also rear its ugly head again when he tries to crawl
Big big hugs mama.
He is all about wanting to sit up right now. It's the only way he really wants to be held. Loves his bumbo. And promptly spits up filling the tray within 5 minutes... Maybe it really is the reflux just getting a bit worse. But he really is mostly happy for most of the day, it's only the evening that is awful. I can't figure this kid out!

I'm quoting this one, but really Mr. Shufflin'?! Really?! B was a happy spitter (thank heavens), but it was always worst at night. I put a receiving blanket down under him on my bed because he ALWAYS barfed in it. For what it's worth, I think you have figured this kid out...just in time to go back to work!
mcbush - it can only go up! Enjoy the peace of no oatmeal demands or cleanup at work.
everydayimshuffling I'll let the ladies with reasonable H's offer advice on him...
Regarding O... Have you had his dosage for reflux med increased yet? It might be time for a higher dose or even a switch. What time does he normally go to bed? I feel like 4 months is when I started a bedtime for D and we did the nightly routine thing. Is he on completely dairy free formula? I think he is. Some babies do grow out of their sensitivity at 4-6 months. Not my kid... Nope... But sure as the sky is blue he was fine at 1 year!
I thought about his dosage, but it was only increased 2 weeks ago. Our only other option for mess is to combine the Prevacid (what he is currently on) with the Zantac (that did not work by itself) and we tried that a while ago and it just gave him terrible horrible gas. I might need to try again now though, good idea. His bedtime is also super late (9:45 or so) but I have no clue how to make it earlier. He just won't go down... Or if he does take a cat nap it's only on me and for about 10 mins. I really think he would be a happier guy if he went to bed sooner... Maybe I will try sticking him in a bath in the evening and try to make more of a routine out of it. I just can't do that until K is in bed (7:30 or so). He is totally dairy free right now (soy formula) but we had also tried a hypoallergenic formula (dairy and soy free) and that was the worst for him! So in conclusion... My kid is an enigma. To me at least. I think I'm going to try evening baths and see if those help.

Try the bath and lotion massage! He will get all relaxed!

nursemommy13 Just caught up on the old spam, and wanted to say how great a pic that is of you, J, and M! And M looks so cute with the flag shirt: I'm glad you found it!

Thanks!
And yes, I forgot that was the famous flag shirt I searched everywhere for. My sister went to College Station last weekend and picked it up from her friend for me! And it was still just as cute as I thought it was lol.
Saw LL in concert In college. It was awesome. He ripped his shirt off at some point, and that image will forever be burnedinto my brain (in a good way).
