Another Stroller/Registry question

Scored some great stuff at a garage sale 2 weeks ago, now I'm not sure what to register for.

We were given a double snap & go, and then picked up this double umbrella stroller. 

Do you guys think this will do, or should I still register for a more substantial double stroller?

It really depends on how much you will be using a stroller and in what sort of circumstances, city sidewalks, all terrain, etc. i would probably wait and see if that stroller wasn't doing it for you before picking up another one. There's plenty of other gear you can register for instead.

I think that will do. But you could always register for another item and if you get it and change your mind, you can return it for store credit and use the money towards other items you need....

I personally hate big heavy strollers. I used a Chicco heavier than umbrella but not huge with DD so I bought their double version. I have yet to use it with the twins but it looks a lot like the Jeep one you linked. I'm hoping I will love it as much as the one DD used.

It really depends on how you plan on using the stroller. If you just want something basic to keep in your car or to have for when you get places then that should be fine. We have a single Jeep stroller like that for DS that we keep in the van and it's perfect for places like the zoo, mall, or short walks.

If you see yourself going for long walks, out on trails or fields, or anything like that then you will likely need a more heavy duty stroller.

I agree it depends on your use. One registry tip I do have is to put everything on there even stuff you plan to buy. We registered at babies r us, and you get 10% of your registry sales back in a gift card at the end. We ended up using that to get a more heavy duty jogging stroller with bike tires to handle our dirt road. So you could do something like that as well. It comes about 10 weeks after the closing date on your registry so it allows plenty of time to see what you still need/want when the babies are here.

I'd wait to see what you'll use, honestly. We use a BOB as our everything stroller and it works for us. I would've never guessed that ahead of time.

I had an umbrella w my singleton and used it a grand total of 3 times bc I thought it was essential. Turns out we only needed the bob.

Thanks ladies! The lack of any sort of storage space on the Jeep stroller has me concerned- it might just be the stroller that we keep in the car. We live 6 blocks away from a fantastic zoo, where I'm sure we'll spend a lot of time, but I know we'll need a basket underneath for that kind of trip, so I think we'll register for something more substantial. If no one buys it, we'll probably wait to see if we need it.
