We are planning to go. What do i need to know?
Im trying to figure out the logistics. If we end up playing in the water and stuff is there a place to dry off if you want to do the character dinner the same day?
Anyone know if its worth renting a cabana for the day?
If you stayed in a hotel where did you stay? How far was it from sesame? Any other details?

chewbaccarock Thanks for the hotel suggestion!! It was perfect. The location cant be beat, the people were so nice, the service was great and the breakfast buffet was great too!
We ended up renting a cabana in sesame place and i honestly think its worth it if you have the extra money. Its convenient and nice to have when the sun is beating down on you. Since we rented the cabana they gave us 6 souvenir towels, 12 drinks, vip access to some characters, vip access to the lazy river... You can order your lunch and have it delivered to the cabana. There was a ceiling fan in the cabana. Zoe came to visit the cabanas. Its perfect if you plan on going to the water park part of the park. You can close the cabana and change your clothes or the kids diapers. Extremely convenient.
Id recommend a weekday if you can avoid the weekend. Today was much much more packed than yesterday.
limabeanmom tagging you bc i know you said you wanted some info. Let me know if you have any questions.

Oh yes! And the dine with Elmo thing was fun. The food wasnt the best but it was buffet style so you can pick and choose.
Big Bird, Elmo, The Count, Cookie Monster, and Abby were all there. Big Bird and Elmo hang out in a special corner to take photos. You go to them and you can go as often as youd like during the meal.
The Count, Cookie and Abby go table to table. You can take pics with them too.
The characters dance and sing during the meal too. Kids can dance with them.
The only show we saw was Elmo the Musical... It was cute. J was entertained. The show lasts about 25 minutes.
