Moms of two--double stroller

Following! I'm on the hunt for a double stroller as well!

So glad you posted this, I was wondering the same thing! I've been considering the Graco Ready2Grow bc it can have 2 seats or the standing board thing.
I haven't actually gone to the store to look yet though

My biggest question is when is baby 2 due? (Mobile can't see siggies). The reason I ask is bc if you are like me, the stroller basically hibernates for the winter. And if we did need to go anywhere that we needed it, I just wore the littlest one and put the bigger one in the single stroller.

That way when spring comes, #1 will be older and migy be ready for the sit and stand?

I hope that makes sense. My brain is kind of dizzy today. And I haven't even had a drink.

Baby #2 is due the end of July. I live in Houston though, so there are a few sporadic weeks where it's too cold to do anything, but most days it gets into the 50s or 60s. So season doesn't really play into it.

Well. If I had looked at your avatar I should have known Texas! Doh! I would definitely probably wait on the expense of a double and see how often you would actually use it. Like you won't need it right away kind of thing? I know I didn't but that's just me and we didn't do a lot of "walking" for the first couple of months anyway. Maybe by then, if you are comfortable baby wearing you would have a chance to see how LO1 is doing, in terms of the sit and stand option? I just feel like doubles are so cumbersome for loading and unloading and steering that if you can get away withou it, bonus.

Following. Baby two is due in August. At this point I'm just planning on wearing LO2 and DD will use the stroller. By the following summer though I will be looking for a double.

Try to test one before you buy it. We have a single Graco click connect jogging stroller which I love, but when I tried this one out it in store it felt cheaply made and the handlebar was in the wrong spot for me. I think part of it may be that I'm used to 3 wheels instead of 4. I was really hoping I would like it

With that being said, I will now probably wear DD2 until next spring to avoid buying a double stroller. We live in NY so we don't use it much anyways Nov-Apr.

Thanks for the advice. I have a Graco single that I love, but it is four wheels, so maybe it will feel similar to me?

If I had another on the way that's the one I'd be getting.... I have the click connect, modes system. I love it. I do know some others are cheaper made but I think that's probably their best double. And I'd bet you are going to want a double. DD still wants to be carried a lot. I'm betting the older ones will want to be held more when the new one comes, out of jealousy and not getting quiet as much attention as possible. Any chance you could have not to carry when you're out would be good... I'm guessing.
