So as many of you know I have been bounced around the office from OB to OB the last few months. I met with a new one in August and she tested my thyroid. Then she went on maternity leave leaving me with the knowledge that I have hypothyroidism and a high thyroid antibody count. ? Then I get ass-hat. He meets with me twice. First time drops the you have Hashimoto's and PCOS bomb. That's the end of the appointment. Stands up, shakes my hand, walks out. Next time I see him it's all well thyroid meds seem to be working (down to 2.8 from 5.5). See you in January either pregnant or to discuss infertility. Now let's add here, the practice has not EVER done an ultrasound...
So following my most recent loss (see siggy) I call the office, they tell me, well we can schedule a blood draw if you want, but you aren't bleeding enough to warrant a visit. We did the blood draw 3 days after I started bleeding and it was at 0. Nothing else was said or done. No advice, no wait this long. Well I called and they scheduled me with a 3rd OB. So I decided to talk to the ladies at work to see if anyone has used or know of a Midwife in the area. Got told of one at the other hospital here. Today I called them up and not only does she work with women who are trying to have children, her first question was: any losses? I replied yes 3. She said, I will see you tomorrow and we will start running RPL testing. So now I'm excited, but also really nervous.
Therefore I ask all you brilliant ladies: What sorts of questions should I have ready for her? I have so many, I want to make sure I am asking the really important ones!
Thanks!
