Last weekend, we did respite care for 13 month old twins. They are a part of a sibling set of four. The current foster home is only willing to keep the two older kids. We are still waiting to have our license, but I think, that pending no changes, baby boys J & J could be coming to live with US! It will be a long road, as, termination will likely be about a year out.

I know with foster care, nothing is for sure, but I am so excited about the chance! They took a lot of energy, but I love them already!

Yes, they live about 15 miles from us, in the town that the kids would go to daycare at and where B works. The current foster mother and I have several mutual ties, so I think that it would be a good fit to make sure that the kids would stay in contact. At the point that they are in school, they will all be a part of the same school district as well.
