Oh gals, please help me! I just came home from the store in tears because walking is so painful. I don't know what's happened to past couple of days but the pain in my legs is excruciating. The belts I looked at online seem to be for back pain but do they alleviate leg pain as well? I know we discussed one a couple weeks back but I couldn't find the thread. There is one that has a strap that goes on the top of the belly and one that just goes under the belly.
I think I read that under the belly would work since it's just leg pain I'm having, not back pain? Please someone tell me this is normal.....
Sometimes leg pain is a nasty byproduct of the back pain. I think if the price is right, it's definitely worth trying. I do like wearing mine when I'm on my feet a lot as it does make a different to my back and hip joints. Hope you get some relief soon!

Thank you. Which one do you have?
My husband yelled at me (which didn't help) and accused me of overdoing it. I don't feel like I overdid anything as far as the pregnancy is concerned, if that makes sense? Like I wasn't having contractions, I felt fine in that area. It's just the pain in my groin area is becoming too much to walk on...

I don't have a brand or anything to suggest as mine was supplied by a physiotherapist at my hospital, but it is just the basic single strap sitting on your lower back/scooping under your bump. Not comfortable to sit down with, but definitely helps take some of the bump weight off your back and lower half when you're up and about.
I think it's just inevitable with twins, getting to that point, unless you're on bed rest or something. Not long to go, though, so make do with what you can!

I have a prenatal cradle that was a handmedown from a friend who had twins recently. I haven't had as much difficulty with leg pain, but it certainly makes me feel more supported all around.
So sorry you are going through this. My back has me down most of today--I think its just hitting that point for you and I unfortunately. ?

In theory, if you are adjusting your body to compensate for other areas, it's super easy to have pain in other places. It easily could be from core support.
If you are picking up something light you dropped like a pen, you would normally bend and not squat to pick it up. I found I used my legs more because my belly was in the way.
I used the Gabrialla medium support band. Purchased on Amazon. It seemed to help me especially teaching fitness classes.
I had about a week where my back pain was traveling down one of my legs (sciatica?) and it relieved a lot of the pressure. Sorry you are in such pain, I hope you can get some relief soon!
thesportsgal, I got one like this from babies r us. I didn't use the top strap but it helped a lot for back pain. I think it would be worth trying to see if it would help with your leg pain.

Thanks all. SassyPants150 I think you're right. I must be overcompensating for somewhere else. It's hard because I still feel like I should be doing pretty good - I wasn't having contractions walking, I am not overly exhausted, etc. So it's like, if I didn't have the leg pain I would be in good shape!! Even though walking is a big piece of the puzzle haha .
Anyways, I ordered a belt from Amazon, it should be here Monday. Fingers crossed I can walk better then!
I have the same one as anakah and it helps in general when I wear it. Walking for a long period of time makes my pelvis hurt really bad- these babies get heavy, ha! Hope you get some relief some!
Fx the one you got works for you. Fwiw, The one I had was wearable under my work clothes.
Oh good to know, thanks! I'll try this one on and exchange it if it doesn't feel supportive enough.
Of course, I feel MUCH better today, but spent a lot of time in a pool yesterday afternoon. So I wonder if taking the weight off helped my legs and a belt will help as well.
