She arrived, on schedule (!) at 36+1 on July 2nd via RCS, weighing a whopping 6lbs 3.8oz. Early delivery during 36th week required due to prior classical (vertical internal incision) c/s with the twins.
Delivery itself was entirely uneventful, zero NICU time (yes!) Our biggest challenge is the fact that her weight dropped 9% in the first 30 hours, so they have us BFing (but not too much to burn too many cals) + supplementing with pumped milk and Neosure as needed. I'm well acquainted with pumping my brains out, so I feel a bit right at home, here. Last hurdle will obviously be jaundice, so tomorrow will be the big deal, there. Likely headed home tomorrow, too. I've got to say, bottle feeding a non 29-weeker is basically amazing. She doesn't choke 100% of the time! Heck, she's yet to choke at all. Insane.
