Can I ask a question? (Actually relating to children)

Ok so we have the Graco Ready2Grow double stroller and it' serves our needs, but the thing is huge and bulky and BF hates it. We're trying to find one that still has the two seats, but is maybe a little more lightweight. Any recs?

I have the city mini gt single stroller and it's very lightweight. It is my favorite baby purchase. When I was in the store looking at the city mini strollers another mom had the double version with her and said she "loved it. " I found it for much less money on Amazon than BRU.

Ugh I insisted on that one because it had the 12 riding options and the huge basket and was not a side-by-side.... at no point did it occur to me to consider the weight that I would be hefting in and out of the trunk.

If it helps jamjoyful I was just looking up all the double strollers. The one we have is fucking 38lbs without the car seats! But the Joovy Ultralight Caboose too (which has pretty close to all the same features) is only 25lbs. I need to get to a store to try these things out...

I've heard the valco double is amazing. It is a side by side but only a couple inches wider than a regular city mini so it should fit through most walkways etc.

I have the city select and while it is a great stroller its a fucking tank and I want something more compact. Ill probably get a used Joovy caboose since dd rarely wants to sit in a stroller any,ore anyway. Our local "once upon a child" has them often for about $70.

Completely unrelated, but seeing your sn reminded me- how us your LO sleeping now? I remember he wasn't sleeping at first. Hopefully that's changed?

I have the Britax B Ready, converts to double - love it, it's big but I don't think it's insane. I think it's best for two small children though (best scenario one toddler/young child and one infant (holds infant carrier and bassinet). I don't see it being ideal for two older children with the way the seats arrange. I plan on eventually getting the city mini for a side by side though if needed.

I have the Valco Twin tri mode. It does fit through all standard doors, as it's 29 inches wide. It's held up nicely. It doesn't fold very compactly. It takes up most of the space behind the seat of our minivan. It weighs 33 lbs. I'll be buying the jump seat soon so it will hold all 3.

i have the city select. We haven't used it much since we haven't need a stroller for DD.
But my friend with 4 kids swears by it & I liked that I can expand it to two kids.

He's definitely sleeping much better now. He still wakes a lot at night, but I'm not ready to attempt sleep training, so I just stick the bottle in his mouth until he falls back asleep. BF and I have also worked out an arrangement that gets me a couple hours of uninterrupted sleep. He works overnight and he's agreed to stay up for a few hours when he first gets home and be on kid duty since he gets the place to himself when the kids and I leave at 1. I am in a much better mood getting the extra sleep!

Good! I'm glad to hear it! Sleep makes such a big difference even if it's just a few hours.

BTW, I have the city select too. I love it, but it doesn't fold very compactly. It's better if you remove the seat. I recommend trying to fit it in your car at the store before you buy it. I could only imagine it would be harder with two seats.

This. A friend of mine has it and loves it. I played with it at BuyBuyBaby and really liked it. We didn't end up buying a double but if I did it would be this or one of the other versions
