Horrible spellings kill me. Leighum (liam), dizzie (girl) and a girl middle name Ryan, but spelled reighan. I registered a candie and kimberleigh today alone.
Oh geez. I definitely read Leighum as "legume" (lay-goom) lol I think I'm tired!
I lurked on the dump and saw someone is naming their son Atom. Like seriously? Someone must love science.

I know two women in Scotland that named their children Shithead (pronounced shi-THAYD). I doubt I'll come across anyone in person again who has a worse name than that.
#1 - 10/10 | #2 - lost but not forgotten 10/12 | #3 - 7/13 | #4 - 5/15 Diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer 12/19/16 Finished with chemo 4/27/17! Double mastectomy summer 17 Radiation fall 17
I saw an obituary recently and the woman's name was Seugene. I couldn't help but read it. Her fathers name had been Eugene. Maybe it's a legit name but I've never heard of it!

I remember this!
I did ask one of the women why she would do that, and she said only "stupid Americans" like myself wouldn't understand how to pronounce it the "right" way

I'm literally laughing out loud at Seugene! Like "sue-Gene" right?
Leif is a legit Norwegian name... And our boy name. (Pronounced layf)
Well that makes more sense to me. Too bad these parents pronounced it leaf ..... I joke not ?
-when good names go bad?
Yep. Poor kid. There's a Leif in the show Vikings too. Good name. Bad parents! I knew a Leif growing up and a "leaf" as an adult (neighbor of a friend, unsure of his spelling) whose brother was named kale. Why not lettuce or cabbage!?
Nautika La-a (pronounced Ladasha) no for real, I worked in an inner city facility. La'Quandenesha (my daughters cousins name) Passion and Precious (twins no less) Dymond shit at least spell it right!
Also my BFF has chosen Adeline for her daughter's name. I absolutely hate the spelling and really don't enjoy the name period.
Adeline and its many variations are a popular name on my dad's side of the family. Adeline/Adele/Alina/Alena are the front runners for our girl middle name.
I think all those names are very classic and pretty!

Really hurt me to see a name I love on this list. I can understand saying you don't like it or it is not your style, but to put it on a bad name list when it is a legitimate name using the correct spelling and has a nice meaning is just kind of uncalled for in my opinion.
Madison for a guy. Did this used to be common? He was in his mid to late 20s. He's the person who rear ended us and every time I speak to insurance I have to be like "no, no, it was a man that hit me. Yes, Madison is a boy."

Unless it's Kadence, don't worry about it. One of our potential girl's names is Agatha which is on a bunch of people's "OMG NEVER!" Lists. Don't currrrr!

Yes, Madison is a boy name. Yet another "son of" name stolen by females.

You beat me to it again!
I would think it would make sense to people that a name ending in -son literally means "son of" but I guess not.
