Hi everyone. I'm new to this board but I know a few of you from ttcal/pgal days. For those I don't know: I have had 3 missed miscarriages, all at 7 weeks and all after hearing the heartbeat at 6 weeks. It took a lot of testing and several doctors but they finally found that I have a variety of small things that combined in a bad way (arcuate uterus, MTHFR, protein s deficiency, anti-dNA positive, and ANA positive). In June of last year I began Femara+trigger+TI under supervision of an RE and I got pregnant my first cycle. I immediately started on progesterone and daily Lovenox injections, plus a ton of vitamins. First trimester I had regular spotting plus several instances of heavy red bleeding with clots. They never figured out why but it stopped by 13 weeks. Everything was smooth sailing after that until last week.
Last Thursday at 31 weeks, 2 days my water broke. Within 30 minutes I was having contractions every couple minutes and by the time the doctor saw me (about an hour after my water broke), I was fully dilated and baby was trying to get out. He was breech so they had to do general anesthesia for an emergency c-section. Liam was born weighing 3 pounds 10 ounces and is surprisingly healthy for a preemie. He's gaining weight and is already off his IV and nasal cannula. We're starting with breast nuzzling this week and it's hit or miss. But he's doing SO well and is a beautiful strong little man. He'll be in the NICU awhile still but of course I visit every day. Every day he blows me away with how perfect he is.
Anyway, I may be slow in becoming active here but I wanted to at least into and say hi. Looking forward to getting to know the rest of you!
