I hope you don't mind a lurker asking I asked a few months ago and it was really helpful. I am just curious how much your LO's are eating these days? My DD is a peanut so I'm always worried about how much she is getting and if it's the right amount.
Also, what foods are you giving that are a hit? I've been making her foods and could use some new ideas Thanks and if this has been discussed somewhere recently, I apologize!
My LO nurses about every 3 hours during the day, and it varies at night. Usually once or twice. She's not really into solids yet, but she'll eat a teaspoon or two of purees every day. Oddly enough, she prefers veggies to fruits. She likes peas, carrots, and sweet potato a lot. I also let her chew on green bell peppers and she loves that.
ETA: I just use store bought purees, I don't make them. So I am no help there, haha.

My LO has 6 6oz bottles a day and about 4 oz purée for lunch and 4 oz purée for dinner. He gets store bought purées half the time and homemade the other half. We've been traveling a lot lately and the store bought food is so much easier when we're away from home. He honestly likes everything except the meat purées. Gross! We also feed him stuff from our plates. Last night he had pancakes with bananas and whipped cream. That was a first for him. We had a homemade purée thread a while back. I'll try to find it and bump it.
This is a good question because I've been paranoid with all the unsolicited advice to feed baby cereal, feed her more, etc. nerdalert I'm relieved to hear your LO isn't so into solids yet. My baby nurses before I go to work, has about 15 oz from bottles, nurses twice before bed, and then who knows how much she gets overnight. Sometimes she sleeps all night on the boob. Then she usually eats a little of whatever I'm having. She plays with it more than she eats it though. And she has not liked purées so far. At her 6-month appointment she was solidly 50th percentile.
zengal Yeah I'm trying to offer it a couple times a day, but I don't force it. She usually eats a few bites and then plays with the spoon and refuses to eat any more. She pulls away or closes her mouth, so I know she's done. It wouldn't really be possible to just "feed her more" as people are telling you to do. I give my baby plenty of opportunities, but I'm not going to force feed her, lol.

My LO eats quite a bit (I think) he gets about 25oz of formula and 3 meals, about 4 oz each, of solids. Sometimes he finishes it all sometimes he doesn't I definitely don't force him. Right now he's eating less. I am pretty sure he's getting his top teeth... and is a bit constipated. Giving him more water and milk to counteract the constipation.
LO is anti formula lately and only into solids. She'll drink about 18-22oz, and rarely more than 4oz at a time. Table food? Can't get enough. She eats lunch and dinner for solids, and breakfast on the weekends. I've never measured oz of solids, but for example yesterday: lunch was 1/3 avocado smashed mixed with thickly puréed broccoli and spinach. Dinner was self feeding - three zucchini sticks, hunk of chicken breast, 1/4 of a nectarine and a pile of "appetizers" (puffs). She's a shitty sleeper so I always worry the lack of milk is what's not letting her get long stretches but when she wakes and I offer milk she's not interested. She's growing and happy so I'm not overly worried. Just tired.
6:00am: 30ish minutes of boob time. Sometimes longer if he is sleepy. I estimate that he gets about 6oz 8:30: 3-4 ounces of baby cereal. 10:00am: 5 oz bottle, usually breastmilk 12: 3-4 ounces of pureed food. It can be anything - veggie, fruit, mixture that may include a protein or grain. 1pm: 5oz bottle of breastmilk or formula, depending on bm supply 4pm: 5-6 oz bottle, usually formula 6pm: 3-4 oz purée. 7pm: breastfeeding. He will be on and off the boob from 7pm until he finally falls asleep between 8 and 9. On days when I feel my supply is low (maybe I pumped later than normal at work), I will give him a 2-3 oz bottle of formula between breast-feedings.
We are actually starting to wean. I am doing it very slowly. I just switched from pumping 3x/day to 2x/day. By the end of August, LO probably will be getting only formula at daycare. I am ready to be done with pumping. In mid-October DH and I are taking a vacation without LO, so he will be completely weaned by then.
ETA: as you can see, we generally give LO solids before milk. I have been advised that it is actually recommended to do breastmilk/formula feedings before solids. I guess it is to ensure that the baby is getting enough milk and not filling up on solids that most likely don't have all the nutrients they need. The schedule we have has been working for us for a while now, so I haven't followed the milk before solids advice.
LO gets 25-30 oz of breast milk/formula during the day plus 3+ servings of purees. Day care lady feeds solids 3x a day.
Week day routine: 8am - 5 oz bottle of breast milk 11am - 5 oz bottle of formula + solids 2pm - 5 oz bottle of formula + solids 5pm - 5 oz bottle of formula + solids 7:30-8pm - 2-4 tbsp of solids for trying new puree flavors 8-8:30pm - 5 oz bottle of breast milk 9:30-10pm - 3-5 oz of breast milk

My ds stopped drinking most of his bottles when he's with me. He cut back a whole lot!! Kind of scared me. Now he averages about 3oz. He only eats maybe 2-3 jars of baby food with me. I give him stars snacks throughout the day, he just wants to nurse now. But when he's with grandparents he eats all day they say...cereal, food, full bottle, snacks... It's probably about the same as with me though, they just don't have the boob milk he wants lol.
I think we're going to try meat tonight!! 33w2d or 7 months 22 days lol
I make 6 oz bottles every 3 hours during the day and he eats one to two times per night. He drinks anywhere from 3 oz to the whole bottle.
He loves solids. He eats super puffs, purees, whole fruits/softened veggies, etc. I usually have a yogurt every day and this kid steals more and more of it every day. I can't quite pinpoint how many solids he gets though. If we are home he has a lot but if we are out and about he probably will only have something at dinner time. And my yogurt lol.

We're pretty flexible around here. Munchkin nurses every few hours. I don't know how much he drinks, but he's a chunk so he's not starving. We've just recently been offering food every time we eat, mainly because that's a great way to keep him entertained. He feeds himself so sometimes he just plays and other times he surprises me with what he gets down.
We feed M whatever we are eating ourselves. Right now I'm having salad for lunch and he's having leftover taco meat from last night with some avocado and tomato from my salad.

I'm impressed with all the schedules. We're not nearly that organized. I'm of the school of thought that food before one is just for fun. With that being said LO wants ALL THE FOODS!! At this point he's in his high chair twice a day, once in the morning, he usually gets yogurt and whatever we are eating (toast, fruit, etc.) I nurse him or he gets a (4 oz) bottle every 2-3 hours. Though he's starting to down bottles so I'm going to up those to 5 oz bottles (when he gets them). At night he usually gets a puree of some sort (pea's and sweet potatoes are his favorites) and then whatever we are eating. He hates any kind of meat puree, but will eat bite of beef and chicken if I give it to him. He is very interested in what we are eating so I'm slightly ashamed to admit he's gotten to try a few things I was thinking he wouldn't get to try until he was one. The other day he actually crawled across the room, climbed into my lap and lunged for my (all fruit) popsicle. It would have been mean not to share a little right?
ninergirl52, I have these green popsicles from Whole foods that are literally banana and apple puree, kale, spinach and spirulina. They taste.... about how they sound lol. I have given Liam a chunk or two of the popsicle. If he reaches for it and it's not a mega allergen or honey I give it to him. I'm slow on the allergy stuff, and it seems eggs have given him a reaction one out of the three times he's tried so not even sure eggs will happen again. but if he wants it and its healthy he gets it.
ninergirl52 - the schedule comes with being in daycare. Our daycare center seems to be more scheduled then most. We struggle to maintain the schedule on weekend because we get busy with other stuff.

I got ambitious and over-interested last weekend and found a recipe to make my own popsicles for him. So that's next on my things to do (but may never get around to actually doing). Those popsicles sound interesting, I'd eat one though. DH doesn't want to give LO eggs, we did it once and he didn't like them. So we'll hold back on those a bit more.
Thank you for sharing. My DD seems to be eating a bit less formula / BM then others and I think I'm going to up her solids. At DC she is barely eating any formula some days because she is so distracted by the older kids playing, that I end up giving her two big bottles before bed time. She will eat solids at DC without a problem though. She's happy 99% of the time though and sleeps through the night and takes good naps so it's easy to assume she is getting enough, but I worry since she's a peanut. You would think this would be easier with my second, but nope, lol.

Ditto this. Day care lady jots events down in a notebook.
