Recommend an excellent vacation read

Maybe something by Jacqueline Susann like Valley of the Dolls or The Love Machine. I totally forgot about these books until I was cleaning out my books this week. I think they're great vacation reads.

@aeroplaneoverthesea have you read Sultry with A Twist by Macy Beckett? It a great romance trilogy.

Also the Modern Witch series by Deborah Geary are fun reads (they get better as you go along)

I read Poison Study and Magic Study a long time ago and enjoyed them, probably too long ago to read the third with out re-reading first.

Which of her other series do you rec?

Her Healer series is one of my favorites.  I loved the world building in that one.  Deadly man-eating plants, a despot sorcerer king, a healer on the run, and lots of romance.

Actually started reading the Sultry Series after you suggested
It in favorite romance, thanks! I liked the first one, but am currently stuck a few chapter into the second. It seems, I don't know, cheesier than the first? Maybe it gets better and I should power through.

I'll check out the Modern Witch series.

The liked the 1st and 3rd in the series better than the 2nd ha! I am glad you liked it.    

I was just cruising through my goodreads and I also liked The Night Garden by Lisa Van Allen its a good read with a touch of fantasy.  very Sarah Addison Allen esque

I love paranormal romance so if you're into that, the Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews or Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Brigss are great. The Kat and Bones series by Jeanine Frost was good too.

Penryn and the End of Days series was so good. It's a trilogy, YA pnr/dystopian with lots of action and adventure.
