I cannot believe that I am awake right now. I am still working on baby sprinkle stuff. Isaac was not amused. He screamed at me until I stopped. Then promptly fell asleep. I got more done in the past hour than all afternoon. I pleaded with him to stop yelling at me. Oh today will be great.....
songbirdsinging55 I hope the sprinkle goes well today! DS2 was hollering at me while I was cleaning up the kitchen last night. It was like he was telling me to stop what I was doing and to come hang with him on the floor. Silly babies.
So, our DD has been waking up at 2am all week. She's feeling cruddy, poor thing. I tell ya, this week has been horrible. And now I have a sore throat and keep blowing my nose. I am so annoyed. At least lo is sleeping well...eventhough he's next to me in our bed.
I went out with my book club for wine and karaoke last night and had a blast. I drank all the wine too. DH is taking care of DD this morning.
Me and the girls are planing a shopping trip because I HATE all my clothes right now. I used to love my clothes but I hate them. My biggest obstacle is that I don't want to go hunting for clothes and trying them on to find stuff. I used to love it and now it sounds awful. I really just want to pay someone to go buy me a wardrobe (ahh dreams). I need to go shopping since school is starting back up in 3 weeks. Anyone else at this stage?

MsNicole06-i used to love shopping too but now with Isaac, I hate it. I just go as quickly as possible. Don't you wish we had personal shoppers? We can dream right? l8rg8r - I'm sorry you're having such a rough night and morning. I really hope you're able to get some rest soon and start to feel better especially with the cold.
@msn06 and songbirdsinging55 Yes, need to hire a personal shopper. Let me know how it works out. I was just complaining about my work wardrobe last weekend.
LO woke up congested and sneezing this morning. Boo. The weather is supposed to be nice today and we could now be stuck indoors.
gldnbearz sadly my budget doesn't allow for personal shopper. A friend and I are looking at scheduling a kid free shopping day. We figure that should help make the process better.
Has anyone who wishes for a personal shopper heard of stitch fix? My sister did it and liked it. I hope today's events go well for everyone, from sprinkles to recovering. I'm back from my run and it was excellent and Now and Then is on tv! A perfect Saturday so far~
@msn06 Since we're fantasizing about personal shoppers, my fantasy includes the budget for the wardrobe and the shopper.
I think it's cute when baby sneezes then cracks a big smile. She's also wearing pjs with a cupcake decal on the rear. It's a real sight when she sleeps butt up.
MsNicole06 Ugh I hate all my clothes, too. I hate having to wear nursing tanks every day, and nothing fits my new post-baby body right. It's not even really a weight thing, it's like my hips are wider and boobs are huge because of nursing. I CAN'T WAIT to just freaking wear a real bra again.
And yes, I agree that shopping with a baby sucks. I kinda want to wait till I'm done breastfeeding for a month or two before I buy any more clothes though. So like, January. Lol

Thank you ladies for getting it! DH just goes have you seen your closet?! Men. nerdalert I explained my wardrobe as it fits but somethings just shouldn't be worn based on how they fit. Buttoning and zippering doesn't mean fits correctly.
Talking about shopping made me sign up for stitch fix! Glad to hear the endorsement ninergirl52. My first fix arrives next week already! H and I were just talking about a baby gate. My mom raised all of us kids in a two-story house with no gate and says she taught us right and there were no tumbles. Part of me thinks we could do that, but...what if?
I dread shopping for clothes now, mostly because I am still 20lbs over my pre baby weight. I've been wearing the same 3 things for months. It frustrates me because my friend who had a baby 3 months after me is all tiny again. She says it has been due to her nursing...I guess I'm just a breastfeeder who has to eat more to produce milk. Oh well, I guess it's leggings and tunics for me for a while!

Thanks ladies for yesterday's words of encouragement. I'm trying not to get frustrated but 8 months with barely no sleep is making me an angry zombie mommy. I've been somewhat irritable with ds today. I haven't had him for a full day in about a month so it took me back to the demanding newborn days.
SO and I did two date "days" so that was nice. All the kids were gone the whole day, it's helping us reconnect for sure. But he's now pissing me off with the night sleep stuff.
RE clothes: I bought 4 pairs of jeggings from Walmart. Jeans are just so uncomfortable now!! And they come in letter sizes lol I'm ok with that! I'm not trying to lose my last 30lbs I just want to get rid of the wrinkled muffin belly!!
lovebuggies12 I feel the same way about not getting a decent nights sleep for close to 8 months....I'm slowly starting to lose it! I may just need to check out those jeggings, I can't stand jeans these days and I am loving letter sizes;)
Omg I accidentally poked lo in the eye while getting her in her jammies....moty! Poor thing had the saddest sounding cry...it looks ok tho thank goodness
