Lol at ransoms.
Um, I am still in bed. Texting my mother who is in her room. In the same house. Because we are so lazy and don't want to get up.
It snowed here. Enough to need shoveling and a plow which is a first for us here this winter. This is the only time I still like living in a condo. Someone else takes care of snow for us!
We were going to go grab breakfast but the current forecast says "freezing rain" and ain't nobody got time for that.
I got up at 4:00 with DD. She went to bed about an hour earlier last night only to wake up chipper and happy 4 hours before her normal wake-up time. How does that work out? I took her from 4 - 5:30 and DH took her from 5:30 - 8. I almost told him not to worry about taking her because I can never get back to sleep. It was nice being "off duty". It is raining here. I'm thinking about asking DH to go bowling later today. I haven't been in a long time. Do you think DD is old enough at 18 months to get it? Like just push the ball down the lane??
I need to go to the bank and get spinach and beef for my lasagna. I'm trying to find an excuse to not to go my friends kids party. They all just kind of annoy me.
I also have been up since 4 with DD; she went to bed late (because she was melting down), woke up at midnight and then at 4 for the day. I'm fried and my patience is shot. I just need to survive the day.

DH just took DS out to get some stuff for a new recipe we're trying (sweet & sour chicken) & then he's passing by the bakery to bring mama home some bagels & goodies. DS also insisted on me staying home so I did. Didn't feel like changing out of my comfy fleece pants/PJs. I'm also owed a bday cake so I'm sure materials for that is coming home, too.

I'd do it. They have balls that are really light, and you can always help her. I loved bumper bowling as a kid!

We got just under 7" of snow here. Woot! Way more than they expected, and it all changed overnight, but I'm ok with this lol. I'm working on laundry right now, and am going to go out in a few and push the snow off of my car, then shovel behind it so I can easily move it once the landscapers get here.
We had the first snow of this winter overnight and in fact of DD's life, so we went for a little stroll this morning. Most of it is gone by now, however. It looked real pretty when we woke up. I took her to the window to show her that it had snowed. And then later when she was dressed and all, she grabbed her big bear, dragged him up to the window, shrieking 'Look, Bear, snow!'. It was adorable.
Upside of living in Texas: it's going to be 60 today and 68 tomorrow. I see some walks and park time in our future. and some work, and weekly shopping, and never enough time for a nap.
"Gave love tits" was cute. "Likes clicking things" was funny for a second. "Validates your feels" is somewhere in the middle. Someone is having fun settling things up.

Omg I hate weight loss commercials that have before/after testimonials & the after is ALWAYS done up with crazy amount of makeup & much more styled hair. So stupid.

Not sure. We haven't been yet. I've been thinking of going, too but DS is 3.5. At 18m, he'd probably be clueless but I don't see that as a reason to skip it. She could surprise you & just love watching.

Oh FFS, I guess I'm going to have to do some of the shoveling... again. I told MH this morning that he was going to help out. He shoveled a tiny path out the front door and that was it. I know the landscapers are going to take care of the bulk of it, but I'm really getting tired of his bullshit expectation that I have to do all of the shoveling while he slacks off.

DD just put her empty sippy cup in the sink and DH and I are shocked. She's been watching me do the dishes and I guess she learned that is where empty sippy cups go. I LOVE this age!!

Last night it said "wants poll results" worfsy was messing with Parentings drinking thread a bit and I think validates your feels got the best response from that group.

No snow here in FL, but it's super shitty out. Looks like a lounge day for sure. DH has taken over baby duty and I am snuggled up with iPad & pup. I have already showered and eaten something so looks like I can call it a day WIN!

penguin129 St.Petersburg, close to to Tampa if you're not familiar. Originally, I wanted to go downtown with LO and DH but nope. Not gonna lie...this is better lol. Don't tell DH.

eta where are you?
We're about an hour away from Ft. Myers. I guess this weather is at least on the west coast then...
This morning DD woke up, got herself dressed, made herself breakfast (cereal), brushed her teeth and put her dishes in the dishwasher. All before 745am. No doubt I was proud and grind ear to ear. But Why can't she do this during the week? Wah!

I hate the foam alphabet floor tiles. The carrying case broke and I am trying to figure out how to store them. There are so many I can't even get them into a medium sized storage container.
