We had a rough night with Isaac. He wouldn't stop screaming and I thought something was seriously wrong. It wasn't his normal hey look at me scream. It was like he was in pain. It turned out to be very bad gas. He also really wanted me to have playtime. So we were up very late again and I am so tired. I finally got him to sleep and as I laid down, DH rolls over and whispers "you did a good job Mommy". Honestly,I was so worried and tried for hours to soothe him. Until until 4am.
songbirdsinging55 Glad your H recognized you're a great mom. It's important he realizes it. Hopefully Isaac sleeps tonight.
DD is going to MIL and FIL for the day and DH and I have date day since our anniversary is Monday and DH is at training all day. We're super romantic are getting my ring cleaned, going to my classroom to move furniture, get DH some dress pants for work, & lunch.
My new fascination is Tiny House Hunters. I can't imagine living in less then 200 sq ft. I'm also amazed by what they can do in them.
LO didn't eat well yesterday with her cold. Result was a screaming baby awake at 1am. Fed her and tried to put her down in the PNP. She was so congested and sad crying. She ended up sleeping with us until MH's alarm clock went off.
That is so sweet what YH said songbirdsinging55! Happy Anniversary MsNicole06! Sounds very romantic indeed I hope today is better with her cold and appetite gldnbearz. Baby is already back asleep for her morning nap. She was so tired she just went right to sleep when I laid her down. But then she woke up and I wasn't there, and she freaked out. So I picked her up and she fell asleep again in my arms right away. When I laid her back down, she woke up and freaked out again! But she wasn't crying crying, just doing her fussing/thrashing...so I let her do it until she fell asleep. I stood at the doorway and listened. There would be pauses when she was dozing, then she'd wake up and whimper. Repeat ten times. I feel a little bad, but I didn't think another intervention on my part would get her to sleep, and she was soooo tired. Good news is I get my hair done today!

zengal, IMO I think that's totally ok to let her fuss/cry a little. It's good for her to learn how to fall asleep on her own. And it doesn't sound like she was in distress at all.
gldnbearz, I hope your LO is feeling and eating better today. It's so unnerving when they don't eat!
MsNicole06, That is show is addicting! My husband would most definitely live in a tiny house if it wasn't for me. I love them... they are fascinating, but oh my, would it take a lot of commitment to live in one.
songbirdsinging55, Sometimes being a mom (especially to these really little ones) is a thankless job. Those words from whomever are so important! Glad your H realizes that.
So we went to a wedding that was almost 3 hours away and did not stay over. Levi did SO well! However, he basically went the whole day without any nap. He didn't sleep on the way there and fell asleep in the last 30 minutes of the drive home. I don't even understand how that is possible. He has always fought his naps. We have a whole procedure that has to be followed or he will fight it like crazy. I have previously wondered if I didn't actually put him to sleep if he would just stay up the whole day and apparently..... he will. Now today even though he is beyond exhausted from yesterday he is trying to refuse his naps again (we have gotten him to sleep but there was tons of crying even though we are rocking him the whole time)! I hope this doesn't become a habit!
Thanks for the back up singingmama10! I think it was a good thing to let her get herself to sleep, because she went down like a champ for her afternoon nap- like never before! Am I tempting fate by saying that?

gldnbearz sorry your LO is sick. We are just getting over a cold that lasted a while so I can totally understand what you are going through right now with your LO being so stuffy they can't eat. So sad
Hello!! My thur- sunday is so. Busy. Lately. Work and family time just take over.
I haven't really been here in the last couple days but I did want to finally update on the sleepover liam had at my parents. He slept from 8 to 5 am, my mom fed him and then he slept till 7:30 am! It's the best nights sleep he has had all this week. He's been in our bed every night. It's been hard figuring out the right temperature for the house and the right pajama set for it.
I slept from 10 to 4 am and then woke up at 7 lol soooooo I didn't get anymore sleep than if he was to be home that night lol.
H is going away tomorrow.'im trying to sneak in on this trip with liam but I don't thik that's gojng to happen lol

Hey ladies ... Its been a good but long weekend. We lowered lo's crib today. I was sad to see it so low and of course I've tried putting him in it twice & he woke up both times. He got used to being in the pnp in our room the last few weeks. But the weather has cooled down so really wanting him in his room s bit.
