DS is still sleeping. We're going to need to wake him up soon so he's not awake at 11 tonight. DH is delaying. I shot DH down for sex as he wants to go swimming later this evening. Condomless sex plus pool equals ewww!
I push the unlock button on my car no less than 7 times if I am getting out and leaving my keys in the car (I will do this at daycare so I don't have to juggle keys and Lilly - I am lazy)
I leave the window halfway open while i put the kids in the car. Dh thinks im crazy but i dont care
Me too, I always crack one of the windows enough so that my hand could squeeze.
Could I take a layer of cotton (the charm pack I found) and use fleece (also found in my stash) & "quilt" it without batting? Maybe like stitch in the ditch or something...?
Depends. Are you thinking of putting a binding on it? What you could do is sew around all the sides of the cotton and fleece right sides together, leave a gap, and turn it. Then you could quilt it, so to speak, and sew around the perimeter to close the gap or hand sew it shut.

We cleaned out my aunt's liquor cabinet that hasn't been opened since the 90s!! We are taking the bottles home with us. Any guesses on what will have gone bad?? There are bottles of everything....
Bailey's or any sort of cream liquors ... I have had expired Baileys and it is gross.

There are sand wasps in A's swing set sand....yay. Now we have to get pest control to get rid of them...always something taking any extra money we have
daffy2k WOW that is impressive. We had to pay my sister's bf's friend to build our $300 plastic set because my husband got majorly worked up about building it when I told him I read online it took two people together working 5 hrs and the holes weren't pre-drilled. He says he is good at many things in life but building is not "his thing" which I guess is true.
Lol, DH has some decent skills building stuff but he doesn't always stick with it which is why it was nice that he had some help, it keeps him focused. We were looking at pre-fab ones but when I read the reviews on Costco that it took 2-3 guys an entire weekend to assemble most of the ones we liked, I suggested building it ourselves because I thought the guys could just as easily cut lumber to suit than they could puzzle all the pieces together following (or not) the instructions. I was right, it only took them about 2 days, plus a few extra hours doing finishing stuff this weekend. And it was so much cheaper!! I paid $900 total for all lumber, assorted materials and accessories while the comparable play centres were running $1400 and higher
So I chose not to move him. He's been moving in his sleep. And he through the could handle a full day of summer camp. I'm also guessin this is what my evenings will be like when he goes to school.

Add cinnamon to the sand! It keeps out bugs. I would think it would apply to wasps too.

I don't think I told you all (if I did then I'm sorry, cant remember anything anymore) but my dad rescheduled his surgery so now it's tomorrow morning. He has to be there by 5 am and then I have to figure out how to get G to school by 8. I should probably go to bed now haha

Thinking of your dad! Hope it goes smoothly tomorrow!
I cant breathe. My husband thought it would be a good idea to use a scented filter in our central air system. Im practically holding my breath. Yuck yuck yuck. Not to mention i dont want us breathing this crap all day and night. Blehckkkk!!
ETA correction... Its an air freshener that you attach to the filter. Still gross.

I don't have a keypad either. But I do have an app on my phone that allows me to lock/unlock my doors from anywhere. You can also start it from the app. I like it for when I'm at work, because I can start my car from my desk even though I can't see it.
I have this app too. Except the unlock function is finicky and doesn't always work. So when I locked my toddler in the car (yeah, I did it) the unlock wouldn't work. But months later K managed to turn on my car in the closed garage while using my phone. It's not working like I imagined it would...

colieann31 Sending good thoughts for your Dad tomorrow.
@coffeeismylyfe That was a shit day. Glad you (hopefully) got the insurance sorted out at least.
daffy2k That is an awesome play set! I can see why M loves it! And I think shutters and flower boxes would be too cute
megaroo64 You already got great advice about your little Roomba's murmur, but just wanted to add that I hope it's nothing at all, even though I know how hard it is not to worry.
