What are the things that you are sick and tired of hearing about?

For me, #1 is anything Kardashian.  TBH, when I hear "Kardashian" my mind goes right ot this:

Honestly? Car seats and chest clips. I'm sick of seeing pics of kids from another country strapped into their car seat and having the American car seat police make fools of themselves.

Anything that comes out of Donald Trump's mouth. He should just be ignored until he goes away. No one should be treating anything he says as relevant politics.

How people are losing their First Amendment rights. Of course people have the right to say just about whatever they want. But when they say stupid shit they need to deal with the consequences of their stupidity.

I'm a fan of Taylor Swift ever since she called the sick girl in my neighborhood. Even though I hear here songs 50 times and I'm only in the car for an hour a day I cannot hate on her!

Pretty much everything that is being debated on FB right now. I'm also already over the election. I don't like anyone running for President and right now, it's all over the news.

The Confederate Flag. Being just across the border from SC, where the legislature just voted to remove the flag from the State Capitol grounds, it has been ALL OVER the news. An evil, racist prick goes to a church in Charleston and kills the people who welcomed him in and prayed with him and the ONLY take away is that we need to get rid of a flag?? I'm not for the confederate flag, but how about we talk about race relations, income inequality, gun control, poverty instead??

jodielyn10, totally agree. But removing the flag is easy. Take it down and there's no more racism, right? It's an inanimate object and we can put all the blame on it. Why should we look at ourselves and talk about real changes when we can just blame all our problems on a flag?

And hasn't this topic made everyone a historian? I am just amazed at everything I did not know, even though I am a fairly well educated person. I am so glad I have all these experts on Facebook to tell me how it is.

Read it or don't read it but first know it's a PREquel. Second, it's fictional. Scout is not real. Atticus finch is a character. Do not get emotional.

Side note: need to read To Kill a Mockingbird again.


Edit: Apparently the news was wrong and it's a sequel, but still, it's a book.  Chill peeps.

Nelle Harper Lee actually wrote this book before Mockingbird; however, the publisher rejected it and told her to write about life from Scout's perspective as a child. We don't live far from Monroeville (Maycomb) and went to the live town reenactment of Mockingbird (which is great). Anyway, we ended up meeting a friend of Nelle's who was fascinating and told us lots of fun things and facts we never knew. Nelle is quite the character herself! A spunky ol' southern woman who has no filter. I think I would have loved to hang out with her.

I'm sick of hearing how people think the Supreme Court is infringing upon their religious freedoms with the same sex marriage ruling. I'm sick of hearing people use "religious freedom" as a reason to be bigoted, homophobic, or otherwise close-minded in general.

Pretty specific I know, but I got a season of Downton Abbey ruined for me big time because the episodes were showing in Britain and an FB friend got them off bit torrent and then ranted without a spoiler warning.

I totally agree. The 2 radio shows I listen to talk about this too. It was tiptoed around when Grey's killed off a well known character and TWD season finale. IMO, once 2-3 weeks has passed it's free game. Spoiler alert......Titanic sinks, sorry to ruin the Movie for you

That's definitely an exception. Watching something early and then spoiling it is a crappy thing to do.
