After 2 sleepless nights with a sick DD, she only had one wake up last night. It was fabulous. I feel like a new person today!
I'm gearing up for Prime Day tomorrow. I added a ton of stuff to my Wish List so I can see the price changes without searching. I'm just annoyed that I have to miss 4 hours of it for a work workshop thing tomorrow morning.
I need to make a Prime Day wish list; thanks for the idea michelle142! And glad your LO is getting better!
DS woke at his normal time. He typically plays in his crib for ~30 minutes before he gets cranky/hungry & I was sleepy, so I rolled over and went back to sleep. Woke 45 minutes later & he's sleeping again! Woo!
Nothing exciting on the agenda today. I need to go to the grocery & get more diapers.
I didn't want to start it bc I thought my phone didn't refresh again...
Yesterday DH, DD1, and myself went to Brookfield Zoo. It was 'Norah Day' since she was so good during the moving process (and being a great/tolerant big sister since Anna arrived). It was a great day. A little warm but the zoo was not crowded at all and we got in free from our library museum pass program! Although food and special exhibits made up for it $$$ We are exhausted today. Hopefully we'll get some R&R before speech and a free concert in the park tonight. Have a good day everyone!
Not much going on here today. I have the day off then full training days the rest of the week so I'm sure I'll be cuddling with DD most of the day. I also need to go grocery shopping at some point, and do some laundry. I need to wear professional clothes for training and I only have one pair that fits so I will be doing a lot of laundry this week.

Good morning! It's almost the end of the working day for me. Time flies when you're having fun reading about stuff noone seems to care about but you
DS slept from 7.30-7.15 without any major wake ups! This sleep training has given me more than I ever expected, I'm so thankful! And the exersaucer arrived today omgomgomgomg! can't wait to be home from work and try it out!!! Today's a good day

So sad about the stingrays though!
I know We said RIP as we walked by the closed exhibit.
Morning. DH and I had an epic fight last night because I refused to play into his poor poor him "illness". I ran all over town with baby in tow getting him clear liquids since he is having a colonoscopy today and didn't even get a thank you. He said I was a mean person. UGH.
I guess it just frustrates me that when I am sick, I still have to take care of DD and life in general. When he is sick, he just lays in bed moaning and groaning, playing video games, leaving crap all over the floor, etc. It drives me insane.
Multiple wake ups and a baby that thought 4:30 was an appropriate play time this morning, here. However, he slept through all but the first half hour of Wicker Man and actually started with an almost 5 hour chunk.
Another workout G participated in as the weight today.
The land lady was having a coconut palm removed today and they might have just finished. I'll give it an hour and then move my car back.

badw0lf, that sounds terrible. Sorry you and your DS had such a rough night.
Just work today for me. I am annoyed that I have a meeting on my calendar for 4-5 today. I work for a software company in Brooklyn and have a really long commute so I try to leave by 4:30 - that gets me home a little after 6. Most of my coworkers roll in sometime between 9:30 and 10 and stay later, but I don't schedule meetings with people for 8am even though I am usually here that early so I get annoyed when they schedule late meetings with me.

It's way too stormy outside for us to do anything today. Looks like I'm stuck at home with a cranky, teething baby again today.
Those of you that take your LOs to the pool regularly how do you keep them from drinking the water? DS kept trying to drink it yesterday and I just kept his face up so he couldn't get to it.

Hi all! Popping in to check on everyone, hope your babies are treating you well
Mine was terrible last night. The past few nights he's been waking up every 2 hours to nurse and when he woke up at 3 he stayed awake until 5. Then my toddler was up at 6. I treated myself to a coffee this morning and promptly spilled it everywhere when I was trying to get the carseat out of the car. Wahhhh wahhhh, debbie downer post!
In happy news, my toddler is at Preschool and I got to take a shower while LO naps!!
I was excited last night when I fed LO and put him in the crib awake and he put himself to sleep...and then he woke up 40 minutes later, so I had to nurse him to sleep (our usual). I should have known better.
Really good news!! We had our follow-up at the pediatrician's office today re: his food sensitivities/allergies/whatever-they-are and LO is up almost an entire pound from his appointment 2 weeks ago (he's just under 18 pounds) and his poop diaper from this morning tested negative for blood. I am so happy!!

wanderinga what a morning! Maybe you'll squeeze in a nap today too! mands1125 sorry you and H had a fight. Acting like that because of a cold would drive me insane too.
Sorry to all the moms whose kids are having sleep problems. That's rough. DS hasn't exactly "slept though the night." He kind of wakes up and looks around for the boob making a sucking sound, 2-3 times a night. Then fully falls back asleep, then I fully fall back asleep. I fear he will never really sleep through the night. But I'm not going to bitch about it too much, until I really go back to work....
I'm "working from home" today. DS has his 4 month appointment today. I'm excited to see & finally post his stats. He's no longer a string bean, he's got some serious meat on his legs. They will check his noggin too, I'm sure that's all fine.
wanderinga Yikes, what a night and morning! Make sure to treat yourself tonight to make up for it. mands1125 I would be soo pissed! Hugs. cginge Yay, that's fantastic!
DD is still going from happy to crying in a heart beat. And she wants to sleep a lot. I guess she and I both have the same "illness" - I'm also super tired all the time but not really sick (yet). I hope this passes soon.

I'm popping in for a minute while I feed Brady. I was up bright and early to get the new Harper Lee book Go Set a Watchman. I'm about a third of the way finished and so far I'm not made at it.
Also, last night DH and I went to check on Brady as we went to bed at 11 to finish watching the soccer game and got caught. It was storming so I think The thunder woke him up, but he wasn't about to let us leave. So here is the aftermath. Lots of fun playing in mommy and daddy's bed.
