I've made up a song about DS's car seat lovie to the tune of the Kimmy Schmidt theme song. Now I have a more LO appropriate version to sing when it's stuck in my head.

Uhhhh ... Yeah ... No I'm a terrible singer. I need much more booze for this to happen.
dmorgendorffer thanks. I work for a software company too and people love to schedule meetings at that time. I recently moved to QA but my old boss would do that on a Friday. Like really?!
Hey, I just moved from support to QA!
(Obviously very late in catching up with spam today)
Hi all! My friend and her boyfriend came and watched DS tonight so DH and I could go out for our anniversary. It was nice to get away for two hours.
My mom and her BF are visiting and watched DD (sleeping) tonight so that DH and I could go out. So nice! They also watched her in the afternoon while we got lunch and then I went shopping and read at a coffee shop. It was only a couple hours for each, but refreshing.
I wanted DH to take LO to the library for infant story time on tuesday mornings and he told our neighbours about it. This morning the wife told DH her nanny and baby A were at the library, she wanted DH to meet the nanny. DH didn't see baby A - at story time they always start with a greeting song to greet each baby, they didn't sing about baby A. DH asked me if he should tell our neighbours, I said, of course. I'd want to know if I were in their shoes - god knows what else the nanny had been hiding from them? DH reported back that the neighbours (the wife) was really upset, nanny was fired right away.
In DH's words, there is so much soap opera in the life of a SAH.
Interesting. Now I'm all nosey and want to know what happened. [/quoto] I was nosy too! Ha-ha. It was a lot of drama. DH showed me the text convo he had with our neighbours
DH told the neighbours there was no baby A, but also said he was tired and wasn't too certain cos he didn't want to get someone into trouble. The neighbours pushed harder and asked him if he saw a baby in a crimson onesie. They said the nanny said she sat at the back of the room near the door. DH showed a photo with DS at the back of the room. No crimson onesie baby. The neighbours said the nanny insisted she was there and named a few songs they sang, wanted to confirm if they sang those, DH showed took a pic of the handout, no Mary had a little lamb. They asked if DH was still at the library, he was just stepping out then, they wanted DH to go back in and ask if there was another class happening and to get the teacher's number so they can confirm if baby A was there. DH went back in to ask, as he was leaving, a lady with a crimson onesie baby showed up. DH reported back that baby A was spotted, and there was only one class. A bit later the neighbours had a phone convo with DH and told him what happened. She called the library, the teacher was like, no, but the lady matching that description showed up half an hour after class asking for a handout. Busted!
