So I just got out of the shower and laid on my belly to relax. I just felt the hard bump! That whole "you'll know when you're too big to lay on your tummy because it will be uncomfortable" thing is now! Hah! I'm plus size so I've had a big belly the whole time. It's is now firmer to the touch and getting rounder. This is a happy moment. I'm finally starting to look pregnant! Happy happy happy.
Heartburn. Hungry. Not enough pineapple and cantaloupe in the world to satisfy me. Energy one minute, desperate for a two hour nap the next. Lots of movement from the little ninja.

I'm afraid the symphysis pubis dysfunction that I had with my last pregnancy is back, and like a dumbass I did squats at the gym yesterday which made it worse.

I've been dealing with this too! It's the worst! It didn't affect me until far later last pregnancy.

I'm dealing with this too. It was so bad with DD, but didn't start until 35ish weeks. I wasn't expecting it so early this time.
Sorry for all of those who have to deal with it... No fun.
I had SPD come up later last time and it's definitely making a comeback already this time. Did you guys do anything for it before? My doctor suggested I could look into getting a pelvic belt. By the time it was bothering me enough last pregnancy I started working half time for a week and then went into preterm labour and so I never got around to doing anything about it other then rest. It's harder to do with a toddler around now!
Otherwise, I'm feeling the baby at least once a day now, and last night H felt it while we were lying in bed! I'm 20w3d today. So exciting!

I'm going to be looking into the pelvic belt if things progress with the SPD. I actually had other hip issues after birth - sacroilliac joint dysfunction - and wore a (fugly) belt around my hips for a few months, along with PT.
I'm not sure if chiropractic work or PT will help now, I'm going to check with my midwife at my next appointment.

Yum, pancakes. I am hungry all the time. I've also had bursts of energy today, which has been awesome. And feeling little movements here and there.
And this will probably sound a little AW, but I'm feeling pretty great today because I found out yesterday that I passed my final exam for my doctoral license for psychology, which means I'm officially licensed in my state! I'm mostly proud that I was able to do this despite having pregnancy brain and feeling like I've lost IQ points. The struggle is real.
I finally got some energy back so I've been cleaning house and doing laundry. No my back really hurts....I feel like a total ss but I actually had to get out the pregnancy book to see if this was normal yet (I'm just about 18 weeks). I had always assumed that the backache was from the weight of the baby.....hmmm it's amazing the things you don't know until you are pregnant!

Count me in for pubis dysfunction as well! Well, I think so. Now that I have a possible name for what I'm experiencing I'm going to ask my midwife at the next visit. I've just been calling it vagina/pubic pain. I was attributing it to round ligament pain, too, but reading about PD that sounds exactly like what I have. Oh, and I have a PT job cleaning. It's sooo much worse after that. Or lifting/moving anything remotely heavy.. Ugh! I feel your pain ladies.

This pregnancy rhinitis is no joke. I got over a sinus infection that lasted almost three weeks, the infection dissipated but after that the mucus just keeps producing at the rate that the Duggars have kids. I've officially gone through three boxes of tissue this week alone and am wondering when I will be able to breathe out of both nostrils again. Sorry for the whining, the sound my nostril makes actually sound more like a little whistle due to the severity of the congestion. So sorry for my whining and nose whistling.
Other than that, feeling lots of movement from our baby girl. Sometimes I can feel the baby moving to one side and it hurts! A couple of times I've ended up with a hard spot on one side of my bump! Has this happened to anyone else yet?
Can someone please ease my nerves and tell me its normal to not have felt baby moving at 17 w 6d ? I have felt "things" down there but I can't discern between gas bubbles and baby movement. I have my a/s in a week so I'm assuming after I see that everything is normal, I'll ease up and start feeling it but Im dying to feel movement now!
It is totally normal! I don't remember feeling DS 1 until my anatomy scan that was at 21w.
Finally looking pregnant, at least to myself (I feel pretty! Oh so pretty!) Crazy dreams - one was so adrenaline-filled it took me 45 minutes to be able to lie back down. (ETA: and one of them involved projectile vomiting, and I woke up with bile in my mouth.) Second day of feeling like there's a tadpole in my belly. So glad, because it started 3 weeks earlier with DS. Also in the EAT ALL THE THINGS! boat (it defeats the point of 2-bite brownies when you eat 6 at a time.) Finally told DH my libido is still gone, but I'm no longer physically opposed to sex as the norm.
To those with pubic dysfunction - might chiropractic care help? It resolved my pelvic pain with DS, at least.
My SIL didn't feel one of her kids move until the third trimester - it's not a huge deal. I sympathize with the worry it causes, though.

Brain did NOT want to function properly today. Somehow made it through today. Ugh. I'm naturally an airhead so it is just a million times worse when I get foggy.

I'm pretty sure I felt baby once earlier this week but nothing since (I'm 18w6d). I'm really looking forward to feeling it more often too! I get being nervous...I am starting to get nervous about my a/s on Friday, even though I know everything is likely just fine!
I have heartburn constantly and I hate it. I've also been having awful dreams...DH is always really mean to me in them (complete opposite of real life, where he is smotheringly sweet) and I wake up so upset almost every day! It's totalky disconcerting. I used to sleep like a rock and never dream; now I wake up 4-5 times a night and dream all the time. Grrrr
No pregnancy symptoms per se but I always feel full. I barely ate much at dinner and we went for Indian buffet. I can normally eat two large servings of butter chicken with naan and could barely eat one.
Only other thing is I've gotten a head cold and I hate not being able to take real drugs. Boo.
-snip- A couple of times I've ended up with a hard spot on one side of my bump! Has this happened to anyone else yet?
Yes! In fact, it's rare that it ever feels entirely symmetrical. The lumpiness is especially pronounced in the morning and has been for a few weeks now.
Aside from being tired and wanting to eat all of the cereal (honeycomb especially!), I'm relatively symptom-free today.
I did feel three little kicks tonight, though! They were super low. I wasn't expecting them until later because I have an anterior placenta. Baby girl must have been in just the right position!
DH has a fever of 102 and chills, so I'm crossing my fingers baby and I don't get whatever he has...!
