We're making waffles in the morning, and I'm excited.
Hormones are making me grumpy... Had people making whiney comments on a vaccine post on my fb page, and I finally lost it and got all bitchy. Now I'm a meanie (but this meanie gets her kids vaccinated).
Also feeling veryyyyy grumpy. Lots of back pain and fatigue. I feel horrible as my parents are up for a bbq for my SO (birthday) but I just want to be grumpy and cuddle my puppy. But! we had a yummy bbq:)

Very early in my pregnancy I was getting nerve pain down my left hip/lower back when I went to take a step or put weight on that foot. I've recently returned to yoga and it had gone but sadly it's back today. It's totally fine then bam, like an electric shock down my back. I think its just from things moving a little and catching a nerve somewhere. Hopefully a few more yoga sessions can relax my muscles again. I have really tight muscles usually so it's not uncommon to have some muscle tension issues, but it's quite painful and sudden so it would be good to get rid of it!
In other news, DH felt a kick today for the first time which was so nice, he's been waiting for it to be strong enough to feel it on the outside!

Keep having the normal symptoms of being sick and constipated. I'll go a few days with out Zofran and it's lovely(mostly because I can poop a little easier) then one day I have to take 3-4. Pretty sure this little girl is gonna be a soccer player because she loves to kick! She makes it oh so hard to get comfy already... Ugh
Can someone please ease my nerves and tell me its normal to not have felt baby moving at 17 w 6d ? I have felt "things" down there but I can't discern between gas bubbles and baby movement. I have my a/s in a week so I'm assuming after I see that everything is normal, I'll ease up and start feeling it but Im dying to feel movement now!
Good morning everyone and happy Sunday. Don't worry, what your feeling is probs the baby. I had, since week 17/18, started feeling what I thought was just gas bubbles, uterus stretching, tweaks, twinges and random twitches yet I convinced myself I was just being a SS and it was too early and I was waiting for the "million butterfly's inside me" moment that strangers/collegues/friends had told me about.
I had my 20 week scan on Friday and I was waiting for the sonogramer to say I had an anterior placenta (to explain why I had felt nothing) but when she said it was posterior and the baby was measuring correctly and I told her I hadn't felt anything/said I just had gas bubbles etc she literally stopped the scan and said "sweetie, clearly you have been feeling the baby for weeks but you've just been writing it off. What you just described your feeling IS the baby" and since then I've spent a lot of time lay analysing and she was right!
Spending the day doing DIY and shopping for the nursery. Now the scan is done & all good my pessimistic, worrier SO has relaxed and finally thinks it's "safe" to start preparing/shopping!
After you lot got me craving pancakes last week, I finally fulfilled my desire and had a stack yesterday and mannnnnn were they good! Wanting more for breakfast now!

Round ligament pain/pubis dysfunction (I can't really tell which it is) will be the death of me or DH. Not from the pain per se, but from how poorly I sleep and how grumpy it makes me feel.
I woke up with god awful leg cramps in my calfs. It took forever to die down enough that I could go back to sleep and my legs are still sore from it this morning. Anyone else get this??
Other than that, it's been the usual - sleepiness, feeling sick, back aches, constipation and being sad that I can't figure out if I've felt the baby move. But I am super excited that I hit 20 weeks today!
INSOMNIA. It's 4 am here and I could not be more wide awake. I did have a little bit of caffeine today (or yesterday, technically), which I usually avoid even non-pregnant for chronic sleep issues. I'm really regretting it now.
I'm in the same boat. 3:45:5:30 is my sweet spot. I lay awake and try to go back to sleep and ponder life's great questions but I definitely don't sleep.
It also didn't help that DH went out with his friends last night and got back to the house around 3:45, and made the world's loudest ruckus coming back in. Knocked over the dog gate, slammed a door, scared the dog so he started barking. If I wasn't awake before, I sure was after that. And I didn't go down for a long, long time......

Omg the leg cramps! I had one Friday night that woke me out of a sound sleep and was sore the entire day Saturday! It was awful!
I get tired so easily still, but nothing compared to the first tri! Other than that I'm in pretty good shape. Getting really excited for the AS on Thursday!

Constanttly have sinus issues, stuffed and runny nose. I'd love to breathe normally. Also I've been dealing with SPD for several weeks now. It doesn't help that I'm carrying baby so low. Also if I walk/stand too much, my sciatica acts up. But other than all that, I generally feel pretty good.
Yesterday I did get to babysit two, 2 year olds all day, so that was exciting/exhausting. I wa so are when I got home, but a hot bath helped a lot. .

Happy Sunday everyone. Pancakes sound amazing, but I was lazy so I made blueberry waffles (the frozen kind). Also dealing with constantly stuffy nose, and according to DH, snoring at night. Still waiting to feel baby.
Do your OB's do breast exams routinely? Mine just did one on my first visit. I've been having a really bad bruise-like pain in my right breast, and yesterday felt a lump underneath the skin. Well, today it seems to have moved more to the surface, and is still painful. I'll bring it up at my next appointment, but don't want to be that crazy person who thinks I have breast cancer right away when it most likely is a clogged duct from what I've read. I just thought at 18 w 4 days that's early to start experiencing anything BF prep related.
Sorry for everyone feeling the pubis dysfunction pain, that doesn't sound like fun.
I actually ate myself sick yesterday. I didn't even really eat that much but at some point my body just said no and then the MS hit hard. I'm afraid to eat today.

I was up for about 2 hours last night with throbbing toe pain. I think it may be an ingrown nail but I'm not sure as I've never had one before. Guess this calls for a pedicure today!

I've had some pretty terrible leg cramps as well - my MW recommended taking a calcium/magnesium supplement. I've only had one bout of it since I added that to my vitamin regiment. Might be worth a shot.
As for my symptoms- I look pregnant, finally felt movement, and am also in the really hungry boat. I had some movement about 2 weeks ago where I wasn't sure what it was, but now it's definite, and somewhat frequent (at least while I'm resting). I love it, but it's SOOOOOOO weird to feel something moving inside me that I have no control over. Clearly, FTM here.
Let me not forget about the pregnancy brain. It's been full force since this morning. My husband really had a field day laughing at my stupidity trying to get breakfast from the fridge, heated up, onto a plate in our dining area, and then utensils. It was really a challenge.
My pregnancy brain is in full swing. Its so bad I cant remember anything. Ive also been having trouble sleeping. Last night I woke up with both my legs numb and it seems to only happen when I sleep on my back. Which I cant do anything about. Anyone experiencing leg numbness I know some of you have experienced leg cramps.
Other than that, feeling lots of movement from our baby girl. Sometimes I can feel the baby moving to one side and it hurts! A couple of times I've ended up with a hard spot on one side of my bump! Has this happened to anyone else yet?
Yes! I'm 21 weeks and baby has been regularly making hard spots just about every night for 2-3 weeks now. When we had our a/s last Tuesday we could see that it has its legs curled up under its body, so I imagine when it does that weird hard bump it's actually just stretching those little legs and that bump is the baby's butt. Yesterday morning I opened the blinds to let some sunlight in and told the baby to wake up. Almost right away I felt a hard little lump rise up that is about the size the baby should be right now. Idk how it manages to move like that, but it does frequently.
Symptoms have been mild lately, except for the horrible back and rib pain that make me feel like I've been skewered. It's even worse at work when I sit at a desk all day, so tomorrow I'm going to see if HR has anything that could maybe help with that.
And... Just got super light headed. Fun times when solo parenting DD, who was already whining about no one playing with her. Now she's upstairs happily watching Busytown Mysteries and I just ate some peanut m&ms.
INSOMNIA! I realize that it's only 9, but that's midnight in teacher time. And I'm exhausted! I just can't sleep. At least I can catch up on grading while I'm awake. Yay. :/

TMI alert
I am full of shit. To keep it short, I'm dealing with constipation, prune juice, and diarrhea. Can't seem to get it just in the middle. Oh well. Not the worst pregnancy symptom to deal with!

Let's see where to start... I'm nesting already. Like cleaning out the entire house, sorting through baby clothes from my other kids, getting the nursery ready. When I'm not doing that I'm making baby lists of crap we totally don't need but absolutely have to have. Outside of that my boobs don't hurt anymore but they leak. The baby moves a lot DH and DD have both felt it move. I don't sleep. I go to bed after midnight, wake up at 6:30 and between that I wake up a couple of times to pee at night. Oh and the worst thing is my hips spreading and I can feel a clicking in my pubic bone. So gross! Yay for the third pregnancy having everything happen sooner!
