I still check here almost daily to see if anything new is posted... I miss you ladies!
DD1 has lost almost all her baby fat and looks like a toddler! She loves her crayons and sandbox.
DD2 is 3 months old and an absolute doll. She sleeps about 6 hours a night and really only cries if she's hungry or needs help falling asleep. She even puts up with big sister burping and wiping her mouth, which aren't exactly done gently sometimes.
And me, well I started back to work on Monday and am trying to find a balance between it and home. I hate pumping! I also started logging my calories in the lose it! App and DH and I are hopefully going to shed some pounds and exercise more. We are both competitive so it's motivating to us that one of us might look a lot better than the other lol
DD#1 is doing awesome, of course she's stated saying "I'm cute, I'm cute", so I guess we should keep that in check, but it's hard not to tell her how cute she is. We are transitioning to a big girl bed this weekend.
DD#2 is still baking at 17w3d, and I'm so excited for her arrival (obviously not to soon)!! I'm already nesting!
AFM, I'm just hungry . DH asked if I wanted to SAH, and even though I thought that's what I wanted I decided against it at this time. DD#1 loves daycare, and I like my job so I figure we'll keep doing our thing. I told him I might want to do PT when they are in school so I can be home, but I realize I love being a working mom.... Go figure.
I still check in often, though haven't posted much recently.
DD is a mini me and wants to do everything I do now. She pretends to dry her hair and paint her nails, she lays on my yoga mat and "exercises." She's also a Chatty Cathy and talks alllll day. The other day, when I gave her a plate of chicken and apples, her response was "actually, I want grilled cheese." Sassy.pants. She's also started to get separation anxiety and gets very sad and cries when I leave for work, which is a killer. She often wakes up in the morning saying "mama no work, stay at my home." Totally heartbreaking.
DH and are starting to talk more about trying for #2. We are taking a vacation in October with friends, and I think we'll start trying after that.

I'm still here.
DS1 is growing so fast and is starting to say short sentences. He will also say and recognize part of the alphabet and some of his colors.
DS2 is still baking thankfully!! He will be here in 72 days(tentative RCS date) or less (depends on BP and liver enzymes)..
DH is still out of the house because he is apparently still needing "time/space" I hope and pray that ONE day soon he will realize what he has and comes home.

I'm still here, and I check in daily as well to see if anything has been posted. My other board just isn't the same!
DD1 is doing great, she seems so big now that we have a new baby in the house. She has been spending the summer in her kiddie pool and loving it! She's been great with her sister and hasn't shown any jealously, although her separation anxiety is crazy now. It's like she's afraid that if we leave her she'll come back to another new baby or something. Haha.
DD2 is growing SO fast. She'll be a month old tomorrow, and I can't believe it. She's just over 10 lbs, which DD1 didn't reach until close to 3 months! We are in 0-3 month clothes, and I'm sad to retire the newborn stuff. She started smiling yesterday.
As for myself, I'm just learning to deal with 2u2. Some days are insane, and honestly DH could step up his game a bit when it comes to helping out!
DD is a crazy active kiddo and keeps me running. She has been sick/teething the past week which has been rough. I am amazed by how smart she is. She talks in sentences now, knows how to count to five, is learning her colours, and loves to "read".
I'm almost 36 weeks pregnant, and definitely at the uncomfortable stage. We are preparing to close on both our new and old houses by the end of July, which means moving a week after my due date in August. I'm overwhelmed.
I'm here and also check in daily! It's nice that even if this board isn't as active as it used to be, we all can gather back here to catch up! So good to hear from everyone! Good luck to the mama's that are due soon ( jnetx, mommytoone and mommabakes ) and can't wait to hear your announcements! I'm glad to hear things are going well sugarkissed and fiveohfive with 2 LOs, it gives me hope for the future .
DD is so busy these days! She is talking in sentences, starting to recognize numbers (her favorite number is 2), loves to boss people around and tell them where to sit or stand, and she just melts my heart when she gives me a kiss and says I love you! I told DH he needs to build her a sandbox because she played in one for the first time over the weekend and loved digging in it but didn't want to put her feet in it, silly girl.
I am doing well, 10w3d pregnant today and having a bit of relief from MS and exhaustion which feels wonderful. So, so close to 2nd trimester! My first OB appointment is a week from today and I am excited/nervous/anxious to hear and see that everything is going well. It's hard to wait so long for the confirmation from a doctor that yes indeed you are pregnant and it's a viable pregnancy but on the other hand it makes it easier to keep it a secret between DH and myself. I'm also super nervous to tell our families, I just don't like that kind of attention on me but I know they will be happy for us amd hopefully it will explain why we've been a bit distant over the last couple months. DH had started our bathroom remodel July 4th weekend and got about 3/4 way done and has taken a week break from it, somehow I have to get him back in the mode to finish it up.
I'm here! It's harder for me to check in from home because I'm not at a desk on the computer all day. I was in the hospital over the weekend (dehydrated and high bp). Now I'm on bed rest till baby boy comes (RCS set for 7/31)
DD is fabulous. Amazing us every day. She doesn't talk as much as y'all's LOs seem to but she certainly makes known what she wants. She absolutely loves to sing and dance! She's our tiny clubber lol
Thinking of you carli! I can't imagine bed rest is easy, especially with a toddler.
I'm still here but only check in every couple days. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and my RCS is scheduled for 3 weeks from today! We have a lot already, but need to get organized for this baby. Cue panic mode...
DS is doing great. He's obsessed with cars/trucks/anything with tires and playing outside, no matter what the weather looks like. Except thunderstorms - he's developed a real fear of those and has a complete meltdown if he's awake when one rolls through. Really hoping that's a short phase.
We recently moved, which was a huge pain with a toddler and while pregnant, but DS adjusted really well. And now he's in a big boy bed (we needed the crib for baby #2) - I was shocked at how easy that transition was too! And his language is improving by leaps and bounds every day. My husband and I are really in awe of how much he can do, and think he's pretty amazing
I still check in every few days. I was never good at starting threads, but I try to comment on the ones that other people start unless I only have exactly the same thing to say as everyone else.
DD is doing great. She's really smart (knows colors, and tons of objects and family members) but not saying a whole lot. She's into acting everything out. She'll say a word and than act something out....it's like a constant game of charades in our house which is both entertaining frustrating. She's really taken to repeating now and I think sentences are coming soon (I hope!). She's got a very strong personality and can be quite the Bossy Betty.....a bit like her mama so it makes me chuckle sometimes.
I feel like the odd man out since I'm not currently pregnant I've been enjoying the summer though with plenty of wine on the patio etc. since it's the first summer that I've had my body in 2 years. Now that DD is getting independent and seems more like a little girl than a baby I'm getting the itch for baby #2 (My DH has had the itch for months now). I also started a new job 4 months ago so I needed to be here a bit before I got knocked up. We will probably start trying in September.
I am here....I only check in every few days and don't comment that much at this point. DS is definitely no longer a baby anymore and in full toddler mode. He is obsessed with vacuums! He speaks in words and phrases. He loves to ask if we "had a good day" and are we happy!
Good luck to all the pregnant moms out there. I wish I was but I know that is not in the cards for us. carli, Take care!
DS is doing great and is starting to put multiple words together. He's a complete wild man and so, so active. I'm currently 31w pregnant with DS2 and feeling so huge and uncomfortable. I don't remember feeling this way until about 36w last time.
Congrats to all of the other expectant mommas! There are a lot of us around here.
I am still here and I check her often and totally lurk on other boards.
DD is doing amazing. She randomly pooped on the potty twice last week - what?! Caught us off guard but she hasn't wanted to do it since. We are finally off her Frozen kick and she is currently obsessed with Ariel
H and I just started trying for a second - this will be our second month! I am totally ready to be back in baby mode
Good luck to all moms with babies on the way and jnetx congrats on making it so far this time!!!! You must be over the moon!
I'm here! I check in daily but just can't come up with new threads to start too often.
My kid is doing well...he finally decided talking was something he could do and went from under 10 words to over 50 in a matter of two weeks and is still going.
#2 is still inside. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe I have made it to full term. He is measuring huge (8 lbs 14 oz at my growth scan last week). I'm hoping I'll go into labor on my own any time between now and next Wednesday when my rcs is scheduled so I can attempt my vbac.
So happy for you making it to term! That was one of the best days of my PG with DD. Wishing you a successful VBAC!
BTW, and slightly off-topic, I just read a really good book about being a preemie mom called "Anchored". I thought of you when I read it. The author had a micro-preemie, but most of her experience can go for any preemie mom. If you are looking for a good read, I recommend it.

Oh carli,! I'm sorry about the bed rest! It blows, but you are going to get through it. T&Ps!

You can't sit with us! ;-) Just kidding! Have a drink for me, please. :-)
I'm here, sort of. I check in every few days. We have a busy summer with babies coming in the family and 2 weddings in the fall. I'm not knocked up either and currently not trying. We'd talked about kiddos being 3 years apart but I'm not sure we'll be ready to try this winter so we'll see. I can't imagine 2 right now. I keep my nieces sometimes but can't imagine all the time. I am starting to get the itch though so we'll see. Best of luck to all of you who are due and those dealing with 2u2!
DD is putting sentences together but stuttering as she does. It's frustrating sometimes because she usually can say the individual word bit in a sentence is hard to understand. But she says anything she wants. She has pooped in the potty twice once totally by herself. She doesn't want help getting on or anything. However it's mostly sit for a few seconds then get off and flush. Currently trying to work on colors but not going great just yet.

Hi everybody!!! Congratulations and best wishes to all of our expectant mommas.
DS is doing well. He has lots of personality and "baby opinions". He is experiencing some separation anxiety and some sleep regression He loves trains, Mickey Mouse, cars, puzzles and "reading". His speech is coming along although it's a little behind but getting better
I'm due in December. I have not been as sick this time and can't believe I'm almost half way there. We haven't even told people yet. DH wanted to wait until after the anatomy scan. We are remodeling our house so we can sell it and hopefully get a bigger house soon. We've been crazy busy but it's been good. I'm so glad to hear you ladies are well

I haven't had much time to post much lately, but I've lurked as much as possible. Things have just been crazy, we're finally moving to the opposite coast at the end of the month so I've been busy planning, running around like hell cleaning, packing, and throwing away things we don't want to bring. All while potty training DD who woke up one day and decided she no longer wanted diapers. Today was the first day she went completely accident free. (Woo-hoo!) Also, my 14 year old sister is coming to live with us as soon as we move because my mom's been doing some pretty disgraceful things, so that's been added stress to our situation. But we're making the best of it. I know once we're there and settled that things will mellow out, but it's hard not to stress.
Congrats again to Jnetx on the new baby boy!! carli, you're not the only odd man out! I can't wait until we can TTC again.
I'm still here but have been too busy to check in for a few weeks.
Congrats to everyone expecting! DH and I are in baby mode and DD is obsessed with babies and keeps asking for one, we are going to start trying in a couple months and are so excited!
DD is amazing as always. She has always been a little lazy about speech and communicated just fine without words, but she has suddenly decided language is useful and is blurting out dozens of new words every day and starting to piece together several words.
She loves reading books, even alone, and loves taking naps...I finally lucked out in the sleep department! She has also discovered the joy of bossing other kids around and passing the blame, but she sucks at that last one. Sorry kid, but I know that you're the one who pooped in your diaper.
Anyway...it's great to hear how everyone is doing!
