What are you reading? All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven and Jurassic Park
What number is it for the year? Does it count towards a goal? 23&24/40
How do you like it? I like it a lot, but I'm still only about 10% in. The description said it's "The Fault in our Stars meets Eleanor and Park". I loved TFIOS but was Meh about E&P. So far that All the Bright Places seems to fit that description.
What is on your list next? Armada!!!
GTKY: What is the first book you fell in love with?Little Women

What are you reading? Hidden Huntress by Danielle L. Jensen and Runaway Retriver by Tui T. Sutherland (the book I'm reading with DD)
What number is it for the year? Does it count towards a goal? These are numbers 58 and 59. After these, only 1 more to go to meet my yearly goal. I think I'm going to increase it, though.
How do you like it? The main character in Hidden Huntress is making me crazy at the moment, but I really love the plot. Runaway Retriever is hilarious. Even H has been laughing as I read it aloud to DD.
What is on your list next? Vicious by V.E. Schwab for me, Patches by Ellen Miles for DD
GTKY: What is the first book you fell in love with? The Golden Egg Book by Margaret Wise Brown. It's the first book I ever read by myself and the book that really made me love reading.

Year Of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks. It's really good, if you don't mind when a writer infuses characters with modern sensibilities. Also, Coal Miner's Daughter by Loretta Lynn (and a ghost writer). It's good, as long as you don't expect a woman born in extreme poverty 83 years ago to have modern sensibilities.
Next is probably "The Red Queen" by Victoria Aveyard. Along with Daughter of the Saints by Dorothy Allred Solomon.
I don't really remember the first book I feel in love with. It might have been Charlotte's Web.
What number is it for the year? Does it count towards a goal? 27-ish, in that range 26-29, I can't remember. Goal was 24, now I want to beat 44.
How do you like it? I'm loving it.
What is on your list next? Luckiest Girl Alive
GTKY: What is the first book you fell in love with? The Green Mile, the summer it was published in little novellas. The anticipation of the next book and group reading with the old book ladies on the beach. That was my reading hook. All it took. RL Stein books were also a favorite, but nothing grabbed me like The Green Mile
Hi I'm a lurker from May'14. I've always been a big reader but the last few months have taken its toll on my book count. I've been following for inspiration. Hope you don't mind if I start jumping in!
What are you reading? Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain and Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult.
What number is it for the year? Does it count towards a goal? They are 6 and 7 of the year towards my goal of 26 (normally thats approximately where I end up, this year I think I am going to be very short).
How do you like it? Kitchen Confidential is fascinating. Loving it so far. Lone Wolf I'm finding boring and not really my style, just trying to power through it.
What is next on your list? The In-Between World of Vikram Lall by M.G. Vissanji
GTKY: What is the first book you fell in love with? I have two that happened around the same time. That Scatterbrain Booky by Bernice Thurman Hunter. A Canadian scholastic book that was taught in my grade five class. It's the book that taught me the concept of context and really steeped me in to someone else's world. And of course, Little Women. Such a wonderful classic.
