OT - What movie should we see at the theater this weekend?

Selma and Wild are both very good, but may make you cry. I was able to hold them back, though. We are about to go see The Imitation Game.

There is an unintended pregnancy in Wild. She doesn't go into the specifics, but she doesn't want it and years later there is no kid. At the end of the movie, she briefly tallks about later in life marrying anf having two kids.

I originally voted for Into The Woods... but it starts off with a baker and his wife going through infertility because they are cursed by a witch... probably not the best movie to distract you.

The imitation game is really good. The theory of everything is also really good but I cried throughout the whole movie. I don't know if it is suppose to be sad or if it was hormones. Into the woods is good, not a distraction from fertility issues though. And I thought it was really long.

American Sniper was so good..

but the baby looked fake to me!!! It was seriously such a good movie though. The theater was dead silent afterwards.

Seconded! I did have to look away during a baby birth scene....stupid IF emotions. Left the theater in stunned silence.

I really liked American Sniper. Not because it's a feel-good movie, but because it was well-made and broke me out of the fucking 'woe is me' bubble that I live in. I have been wondering what to do while CLNBC and now I know that I want to volunteer at a VA hospital.

Warning: I ugly ugly ugly cried at the end of this movie. Like, 'can't catch my breath' sobbing as I was walking out of the theater. But that might just be me?

Do not waste your time with Blackhat. Not nearly enough half-naked Hemsworth to make it tolerable. I thought the Imitation Game was fantastic. It was the first movie in a long time that I didn't look at my watch halfway through to see how much longer there was. Unbroken was good too, but the book was better.

Tiger TBH I totally would have but i purposely held it together. DH and I went to a private showing with a bunch of law enforcement officers I work with so I didn't want to ugly cry and look like a horror movie with my makeup going everywhere in front of all the guys lol. I had to be tough.
