I would usually start it on Sunday/Monday but thanks for kicking it off here. I've had a completely slack week due to business trip and dinners. I'll try to do some youtube workouts this long weekend. I have been doing lots of walking which is better than nothing but i miss the gym.

I'm hitting a wall guys - my runs this week have been painful, so I'm worried I'm nearing the end. I'm frustrated because last time around I was sent for an induction at 39+3 and I went for a 2 mile run that morning. Now I'm 21 weeks and feeling pelvic pressure when I run. I'm going to try to slow it down first and see if that helps, but that means my mileage is probably going to end up dropping.
Still doing my pilates every night and frustrated it seems to be doing nothing for my sciatica.
Sorry for the whiney bitches - I'm just whiney and bitchy.

I am working out almost every day now. I had some problems in the beginning with pain but not anymore. I usually do about a hour on the elliptical. I always hated weights..and since I am pregnant, I guess I have an excuse not to do it! I am getting in better and better shape, because I am working out harder without noticing it, but I usually slow down if I do notice...want to make sure I am not over doing it for my little girl!
Got to the gym 3x this week. Kickboxing twice and Insanity, I've had to do a lot more modifications, but still trying to go strong for as long as possible.
Got to the gym 2x this last week! It helps that I work with my sister and go straight to the gym with her - otherwise it doesn't happen. I've been focusing in cardio mainly, but looking to start adding weights back in slowly this week!
Back on track after the stomach bug I picked up last weekend with 2 spinning classes and a nice long dog walk when the temps hit 50. My 2 year old even pushed his umbrella stroller 2/3 of the way on that walk -I was impressed. Broke down and bought some maternity work out leggings and they are oh so comfy. Now I just need to finish my new spinning playlist so we can hear Uptown Funk tomorrow.
I managed 1 cardio workout on the Arc Trainer, and 2 CrossFit workouts last week. I really miss running but my body just doesn't seem to like it when I'm pregnant, I have no breath when I try to do it even though other cardio is fine. I only have one pair of maternity workout pants and I'm waiting on another, I don't have it together enough to wash workout clothes every time.
I'm thinking of trying out a new place for prenatal yoga; I've just been doing "gentle" power yoga at my usual studio but it might be nice to mix it up.

This week has been terrible for me! I was super sick for a few days and could barely get off the couch to take care of DD. Needless to say, I skipped the gym! Hoping to get back to my normal routine tomorrow, depending on how I feel.

Thanks for starting the check-in! I worked out 4 times this week - did the treadmill, prenatal yoga, and some Pilates/barre work. My butt is still sore.
I too am trying to convince myself to go swimming as well. Except our lap pool is outdoors and not heated. I do live in Florida, but the water is still pretty darn cold when you first get in, so I've been a baby and am waiting til it gets warmer out.

I really don't belong in this thread but I wanted to pat myself on the back for doing some lunges and squats for the first time in this pregnancy. It wasn't much of a workout but I suck a lot at working out while pregnant so it's a big deal to me! I'm going to try to keep it up!
Kept up last week, 5.5 miles runs 4 times, plus some squats and planks. My plan was to cut half a mile this week since I'm slowing down, but I felt pretty good this morning, so I did the usual.
So the plan for this week and the next few is 5-5.5 miles 4 times and squats. Idk about the planks anymore, lol. I want to start going for walks on my days off running. I wish it was just a little warmer out though.
I have been sick as a dog since Friday. Took a sick day on Friday and was on the couch all day Saturday and Sunday. I am feeling a little bit better but my throat still hurts and my cough is still rough. I am holding off on all exercise until I feel 100%. I am hoping to be able to get back at it by next week! Good job ladies!

I've consulted Dr. Google and he said squats are fine for pregnant women, so unless I feel physical pain I'm starting this bad bitch today.
Also I'm hoping to get back to the gym to walk on the treadmill this week. It's too cold to be outside right now, so I'm using the beautifully cheap Planet Fitness to get a little bit of movement in my life this winter.

andreap525 - not only are squats okay, they're REALLY good for pregnant people. Good for the core, leg strength, potentially pushing power later on, and kegels!
I loved the YouTube recommendations from last week. Done the arm bikini body about 3 times mixed with other gym workouts. Been loving the preggie yoga and pilates and accidentally ended up at an oldies pilates (av age 60...) last Tuesday which was super lame!! Definitely trying to do some form of extra exercise a day.
Slightly OT but what are some of your favorite maternity workout clothing brands? I love Zella leggings but they don't come in maternity sizes & they're way too tight now across my stomach
I bought Ingrid and Isabella leggings and they are really comfortable. Full panel over the belly with low cross back.

I don't know if you have Thyme Maternity where you live, but I bought a great pair of pants from there. They are really breathable and sweat wicking which is awesome, all of the other maternity pants have made me even more of a sweaty monster than I already am while working out!
I haven't come across much else, following for more suggestions.
Got to the gym twice and did my first prenatal yoga class this past week (and promptly signed up to be a regular in the class - felt good!) the plan is to keep up the cardio, weights - squats have always been my favorite! - and the yoga.

I've been doing pretty well keeping up my cardio 3-4 times a week. My arms seem pretty flabby these days, so I've started lifting weights again. Working the nautilus equipment, low weight with increased number of reps.
Today, I tried a prenatal yoga class at a local fertility center. It was amazing! The place was beautiful and has a holistic approach to infertility and pregnancy. We did lots of stretches and focused on our backs, necks, and pelvis. Felt so great when I left I signed up for 12 more classes! It was such a supportive and inviting setting. I got emotional during the guided relaxation, and legit almost cried. This pregnanc is turning me into such a softy!!
