Really sad that with everything shifting in my lower half due to being KU, I can no longer crack my back by clinching my buttcheeks.

I just sat on my couch and tried to do this for longer than I'm willing to admit. No luck. That sounds impressive and I'm sorry you've lost such a quality skill.

+1, to both trying and the unfortunate side effect of pregnancy stealing such a skill from you.
I'm going to have ice cream for dinner tonight. I have a pint of half baked to celebrate hitting the proverbial half way point in pregnancy. Such a small pleasure in life that makes me very happy.

you juuust reminded me i've been waiting all day for DS to scram so I could have an ice cream cone without him (he's had enough junk). He's out for a bike ride with DH so.. here I go! thanks!
Cried at the gym today while swimming laps with DH (not entirely sure why, but it started with him trying to be funny and me just being sensitive), and the nice lady in the lane next to us felt compelled to comfort me and tell me that I'll be a wonderful mother and will certainly lose all the baby weight quickly.
In other news, we stopped at Sonic on the way home so I could have a Dr. Pepper and a corn dog. Totally logical.
I hope your corn dog made you feel better!! I ugly cried in Qudoba this weekend (also not sure why, except that I just generally hate being pregnant), and DH just kind of stared at me. You're not alone with the public tears!!

I suck at probing on the weekends. Way to post and run, Riss!
I cried yesterday when I realized I have gained 8 pounds. I'm just worried because my OB only wants me to gain 15, and I have 18 more weeks to go. Don't think I'm going to make that goal... I should probably stop eating ice cream and all the junk I have been eating. Or not. I'm going to get my blood drawn for my 1-hr GD test this weekend, so I should continue to eat all the crap I can this week in case I fail, right?

I ate all the 'bad' stuff in preparation of the 1hr just in case. But honestly your diet has nothing to do with GD, it's literally the placenta's fault. So eat up! I have it and miss my carb laden foods so bad! I live for Saturdays (cheat day).
