Our "house" reds are mark west or estancia Pinot noir. But the '12 estancia is way better than the '13, and you can't get it anymore here. Both about $10.(in CA. My dad says the estancia was $12-15 in MO).
Tonight I will have whatever Pinot the restaurant has by the glass...or whatever bottle the ladies decide to share. Heading to "moms night out" in an hour. First time since baby was born. (But toddler is at grandmas so DH has it easy).
Finishing off a bottle of Riesling, and then I will join DH with a Rye and Ginger. I also love Costco booze! We buy our Rye (whiskey) there, and it is significantly cheaper than in regular stores. I'm pretty sure that the Kirkland Signature Canadian Whiskey Blend is re-branded Canadian Club. KS brand is actually name brand products that are sold at a discount under the Costco name Costco doesn't actually develop and make KS products, at least they didn't when I worked there 5 years ago before I had DS#1.
Riesling to rye and ginger? That's a diverse palette.
the wine is open and in the fridge and I'd rather not have to toss it, but yeah, I'm an equal opportunity drinker
Not drinking tonight. ..my hinting to dh didn't work. So he is making some mystery meal in the kitchen and I'm pouting in the living room bc I want some pizza so hard.
Btdubs I love the Mirrasou (sp?) Pinot noir.
I use the aerator and it helps it out a good bit.
Oh but Chateauneuf-de-pape is so good. We did a nice tasting in one of the caves there 3 years ago!
And I second the 014 notch drinking convention in Nola! We have go cups and everything!
My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
