I'm about to make a grapefruit margarita. I'm going to use fresh squeezed juice, tequila & triple sec. I'll update after I taste it.
When we drink at home, I tend to stick to bottles that are $10 or less, because I'm a lush. A broke lush. I love wines in the pinot noir/ red zin palette. Mirassou is a top contender. I usually pick up two or three bottles of Yellow Tale because its $6.
Eta: 4oz juice, 3oz tequila, 1.5oz triple sec. YUM!
I'm about to have a glass of bad pinot noir just so I can finish the bottle and move on to a better cabernet. We've been buying the H3 label from Costco. It's quite good for being around $10.

Oh and we are watching a movie. It is supposed to be date night but DH is reading news on his phone so I am probing away over here because why the hell not.

Yellow tail is $6? I pay $12-$16 in Canada depending on the label and the store.

Me too! Right after I finish my Granny Smith apple cider....it's still day drinking pacific time, and apple cider seems more appropriate for the daylight.

I've heard great things about Costco's alcohol.
Costco's Kirkland label booze is top notch (see what I did there? Heh heh heh)
I believe their vodka is either Belvedere or Grey Goose, their bourbon is Jim Beam, their champagne is Moët, etc
I have yet to go wrong with their alcohol. Just pick the equivalent of something you already like and you'll be happy... This includes their wines

Cran-brrrrr-rita. i love these things! Does anyone else drink them? If so have you ever noticed what % alcohol they are? I'm just curious because when we buy them at home they are 6% when we visit the in-laws in another state they are 8%!
Kim Crawford Sauvigon blanc is a favorite every day wine. Its usually on sale for $15 at the liquor store but reg price is $20 I believe. I never pay full price.

I haven't tried the cranberry one but the strawberry... oh my heaven!
Finishing off a bottle of Riesling, and then I will join DH with a Rye and Ginger. I also love Costco booze! We buy our Rye (whiskey) there, and it is significantly cheaper than in regular stores. I'm pretty sure that the Kirkland Signature Canadian Whiskey Blend is re-branded Canadian Club. KS brand is actually name brand products that are sold at a discount under the Costco name Costco doesn't actually develop and make KS products, at least they didn't when I worked there 5 years ago before I had DS#1.
