I feel like I already know the answer, but: so, a seller on Etsy sent me 1/4 more yard of a fabric that I didn't ask for and didn't charge me for it (and upgraded the shipping to Priority, which I didn't ask for). Question: as a seller (those on here that are), what would you want the buyer to do? Email you and offer to mail the extra fabric back at my cost? I want to let her know (because I want to be honest). I'm rambling. Just interesting cause that's never happened to me before and I feel like I can learn from this as to what to do as a seller as well.
Still no pee in the potty. Pee on the bathroom floor, pee on the couch, and pee outside while playing water table. I think it's late enough in the day to crack a beer open, yes?

D had me take his diaper off last night so he could sit on the potty. He then got up, went into his room, and peed all over his bed.
Catching up- michelin82- so many hugs. I'm dealing with the same feelings right now- I feel like no matter what I do my kids are disasters! So many hugs- I keep thinking it will et better for all of us.

Just let her know, and ask her what she would like you to do. Maybe she just threw in an extra 1/4 yd cause it was all that was left on the bolt...?
ETA: Sorta related but not really...I had someone end up in my store because of Etsy's fucked up "referral" algorithm.
This lady (my customer) saw a printing service add on linked in the description of Shop A's listing. That add on was no longer available but Etsy suggested similar items & it just happened to be suggest ALLL of my printing add-ons.
She purchased from me, but I let Shop A's owner know she needed to remove the link & that Etsy was sending people my way because of it. I would want to know if people were being referred out of my shop.
Shop A's owner tried to get to tell her the name of my customer, but I stopped responding.

Ok- finally caught up. Please- I needed to hear 3-year-olds are better not worse!!
My children were total messes at the splash pad today. All three of us ended up in tears. We had a really rough day Friday as well and I feel like the kids are teeing up to defeat me again. I'm super frustrated- I felt like we were kicking ass and taking names for awhile and now it has tumbled in to a pile of tears, and hair pulling, and thrown toys. We are a mess. subliminalrabbit- I apologize in advance for my kids for our meet up tomorrow!!

michelin82 You are not a bad mom! I know I'm struggling right now finding patience with my 2 year old and she can't get in to nearly as much as a 3 year old! I don't know what I would have done if I had walked in to that room and saw the mess. Maybe this is where the drinking comes in? It seems to me that some of the moms of 3 and 4 year olds here are quite the wine and beer connoisseurs... Coincidence?

Can everyone keep my grandma in your thoughts? She's just been hospitalized with the early stages of pneumonia & I'm like 99% certain she caught it from Kael.
He was getting sick last Friday (the 10th) & couldn't go to school, MIL had a doc apt she couldn't miss, and neither my H or I could take off, so he stayed with my grandma (the one who just had a 1/4 of a lung removed).
She had been cleared to take care of him, but I just feel so freaking bad that it made her sick to the point of hospitalization...

pitchslap I've seen kids with all kinds of backpacks roaming the halls of the schools I've worked. I would say those made by PBk, LLBean, Jansport, and the like are well worth the costs if your child is okay with keeping the same bag for years. The cheap licensed character ones from Walmart just don't hold up.
if you don't want to pull the trigger yet, let K get a cheap-o one from Walmart this year just for K. She's not going to be hauling too much stuff home. Save the big bucks for the later grades when they'll have more items to tote.
As for lunch bags, they get gross easily and invariably lost. Is K pretty responsible to keep her stuff together in her cubby? Label, label, label with her name if you go that route.

Saying a prayer for your grandma, nachellebeck. And thanks for the response! I thought it might be the end of the bolt too, but I like you phrased that 'ask her what she'd like you do'. And good on you to try to square with the other shop on printing services! I like the idea of trying to help each other.
I feel like an asshat. I took down one of my hanging baskets because it was just getting beat on in the sun. It's been down and on our back deck for four days. I just realized there's a nest deep inside with four eggs.

Don't feel bad that nest was likely abandoned long before you took it down. The eggs should have hatched long ago. (Like at least a month or more).

nachellebeck Update to the etsy thing (isn't everyone waiting with baited breath, lol?) I convo'ed her and apparently she's out of town and had her boyfriend cutting fabric for her. Womp womp. She said to consider it a bonus and she lost about $7 on the deal (if you include priority shipping). Secretly super pumped because this stuff is out of print and hard to find
I hate that people think O is obsessed with Frozen and keep buying her Frozen stuff. Yes, she likes it. But she's two, so she also likes Mickey, Dogs, Ariel, Lions, EVERYTHING. We keep getting more Frozen stuff and half of it is junk. Sorry, rant over.
I got to hold newborn babies today! My friend had her twin boys yesterday! They are so cute and precious I did not want to put them down. She went into labor naturally and had them (both vaginally in case stargazer763's mom wants to know ) at 37 weeks. They were born six minutes apart. Twin A was 6 lbs. 13 oz. and Twin B was 6 lbs. 7 oz. Two big healthy baby boys! I am overwhelmed with happiness for her and her husband!
But don't beat yourself up about it! Most forms of pneumonia aren't highly contagious and it doesn't spread that easily. I know there are different circumstances because of your grandma's health history, but you can't be certain it was from K! Hugs!
Random but who has a rice cooker that they love? A has been wanting one but I know nothing about them. He wants an old one of his moms but we'd need a converter for it since it's from Korea. (I don't even know if she still has it at this point lol) His birthday is in September and I'd like to surprise him with one.
I have one I only used two times because I prefer to make rice on the stove since I rarely cook it and I don't make large quantities of it. If you want to pay for shipping, I will send it to you. It is brand-new but I have owned it for seven years ( wedding gift) . It is in the donation pile right now so I was going to donate it. PM me if you want to make arrangements for it.
