Hi all, Many of you know I had a pretty rough time last month with an ectopic and crazily decided to not even bother to take a cycle off and just jumped right into it this time.
My Saturday 13 dpiui Beta came in at just 7 but today is miraculously at 36.5, which is still low but is an increase of over five times which kicks doubling's ass. The nurse at my RE's office called me this morning and said that this gives them hope that perhaps I just had a late implanter. Anyway I'm trying not to get too psyched up for anything but I wanted to share.
They're going to look into the potential of putting me on progesterone to see if that helps anything stick. In the meantime, please send me all sorts of amazing mojo and thanks for being there - you folks are the best!
Oh.my.goodness, wittyandwaiting. This is so much! First of all, I just want to say that I am really sorry that you find yourself dealing with "drama" surrounding your beta again. I can only imagine that it must be really difficult to get excited knowing what you went through just last month. With that being said, I am excited and hopeful for you! You are so right, 5x greater totally kicks doubling's a$$! Way to go! I will be keeping literally everything crossed for you, and will be keeping you in my thoughts. Please keep us posted!!!
Beta hell sucks! But I'm so glad that you're not out! I was hoping when I saw your Saturday 7 that it was just on the early side. I'll send you lots and lots of mojo for doubling to continue!

Holy shit witty I just came to post the same thing. I'll just do it here. Mine came back at 23 which the doc said was positive but not as high as she'd like. Ahhhh.
And yes she told me to keep up the progesterone and estrogen.
{Click here to see more.} I started light bleeding/heavy spotting early on in one of my pregnancies. Since I'm Rh- my doc did a beta comparison a few days apart. The second beta a few days later matched the first beta almost exactly...not up or down. Did another beta a few days later....same thing again. I continued to spot every day for 3 weeks. Eventually the spotting went away and that pregnancy resulted in a full term healthy birth. There is hope!

wittyandwaiting, they made me kind of sleepy but very leaky. Liners are a must. I took two kinds, with one of them I needed to clean out the residue (what wasn't absorbed) every day or else it felt really irritated. I think some of the side effects can be kind of similar to early pregnancy symptoms which can be mind boggling.

Oh man, usually I go in at 7 AM and have my results by 11 AM but today the lab is running behind I probably won't have my results until 2 PM at the earliest since they are on lunch now.
(If I were the boss of the world people who are behind wouldn't be allowed to eat lunch.)
